I need advice.... umm....

Okay, I HAD a friend and she was SO nice to me and we hung out alot. Ok? Then, she suddenly thinks she absolutly needs a boyfriend or else her life isn't worth noth'n. So... now she dresses all preppy, coats her whole face with make-up, doesn't care about her school work, (she is really smart, but now she gets alot of Fs.) and doesn't care about me or her friends anymore.
Get the picture? Now, I am so upset. I already told her how I feel, and why this is bothering me, but she just ignores me and keeps saying,"How do I look?" and "I hope he asks me out."
Help.... or should I just drop her and forget?

Your friend needs you a lot right now whether she realizes it or not. Tell her how you feel, don't insult her though. If she asks you how she looks, tell her the truth. She might get mad at you, but she'll come around eventually.

ok this happens all the time I mean my friends are boy crazy like every guy they check out I won't lie I have a chrush but act nothing like them see what it is that lots of girls go through this stage of seeing which can be more pop or which has had more bfs and such (annoying as hell too) but in the long run they will relize that having their friends is more important when my friends do that to me i ignore them i say nothing and eventually they ask me whats wrong and they start talking to me again don't worry she will get over it eventually I know how you feel I am sorry...

you shouldn't drop a friend Tell her in a serious way and then tell her in a friendly way. Friendly ways usually work for me, try saying like:
"You look fine! But I don't get something......blah blah blah there ya go!"
