Has anyone read "Mistborn: The Final Empire" ? I read it last month and it was absolutely AMAZING! It was kinda along the lines of the "Uglies/Pretties/Specials" or "The Hunger Games". I would totally recommend you read it! Like I said, it's incredible! I'm on the second book, it's a trilogy, and already I'm loving it! Very Happy

Well, it's about this teenage girl named Vin who lives in a country ruled by the Lord Ruler, who is kind of like a sorcerer? And she finds out she's a Mistborn, which are people who can use certain metals to fuel powers, like enhanced sight or to soothe other people's feelings. It's REALLY good! Google it, and read the descriptions. I would completely and totally recommend if for you!

Sounds good! I'm still waiting for when I can go get the 4th Mortal Instruments book and the 4th Night World book, only that one didn't come out yet. But when I do get to the bookstore, I'll check out that one!

Heather- I got City of Fallen Angels a couple days ago. It's really good. I'm trying not to blow through it in a couple of days though.

It's probably PG-13 due to violence, but there isn't any sexuality or anything like that in it. No language, so it's actually really not bad for pre-teens. But it's kind of a big read, so if you do try it just be prepared for that. BUT IT IS AN AMAZING BOOK! Like, I can't even say that enough. XD

I know this is a really old post, but has anyone ever read Half Broke Horses or the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls?
It is the best 2 books I have and will ever read.. I learned so many things between the 2 stories.. and they are true stories about real people. Its amazing what some people go through but it isn't a horribly sad book. It's nothing like Marley and Me. I recommend that if you ever have the chance to buy the book, do it because you will not regret it! I read both 3 times within a year, and I've never read a book that I own twice yet! lol thats how much I love it Very Happy
Its good enough that it was translated in more languages than "To Kill A Mockingbird" which is a book you read in highschool.
Read it and then come talk to me Smile
