This is Called: Home
When the phone rings at 2 am,
I know he’s there safely,
Off in Afghanistan.
I can picture him,
Decked out in camo,
Asking his buddy,
To had him some more ammo.
But what I wish,
Is that he was here,
Eating a donut, lounging in a chair.
But I know,
Deep down inside,
That he is doing,
What is right,
Doing all he can.
He’s off at war,
We don’t know what is in store,
But I know he will come home soon,
To us or to above.
I know if he goes to heaven,
He’ll be looking down on me,
Saying “I’m here because of love,
For you and for my home.
The love I have given out,
To set my country free.
I don’t need to be noticed,
I don’t need the fame,
But knowing that I did my part,
Is enough for me to know.
All the glory should go to God,
For he laid down his son.”
I know if I ever heard this,
I know I would surly cry,
For it’s hard for a sister to let her brother die.
It’s the love between a soldier and his sister,
That you would never understand.
Because to you he’s just another soldier,
But to me, he’s not just that,
Because to me,
That soldier is my brother. |

awwwww. It's ok. My brother is home now! He got shot in the arm so they sent him back. Calder, another bro, Is leaving two days BEFORE my bday!  |

| Yeah, I am kinda used to him bein gone. I don't like the feeling. But now his twin (Darius) Is getting married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LVOE LOVE LOVE LOVE his fionce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
