Good News Thread!

Ok, so I was thinkin'... we see so many posts about how life isn't going so smooth. I know it's always good to share those things, for support and such, but I think we need a place for people to post the good things happening in their lives as well! Like, Queso graduated! And .Savy. just had a birthday! That's the kinda things that I want to hear! So, post here with good things that have been going on in your life! I guess I can start things off...

Well, I was in a Shakespeare play (Much Ado About Nothing) that just ended pretty recently. It all went amazing, especially closing night, when we got a full house! I made a bunch of new friends during rehearsal, so Shakespeare can be good for something!
Also, I've been able to go horse back riding more recently, now that summer's here. Getting some miles on my pony! Lol.
Um, I'm going camping this week with friends, that'll be fun!

Anyway, you should get the picture now! So, what good things have happened to you guys?!

well i had a birthday a little over a week ago, which was awesome, and i have gotten back on sbf....hopefully everyone considers that good news!!

My oldest daughter graduated high school two weeks ago and received several thousand in scholarships. But, she couldn't decide what she wanted to do, is joining the Air Force instead. So proud.

My step-daughter graduated high school last week and has received enough scholarships to attend the first year of college free and most of the second and third years also paid for. She's planning on becoming a nurse. Again, so proud.

My 4 year old is following in her sister's footprints. At age 4, with no formal schooling, she has decided this week to start sounding things out and spelling them by herself. She wants to be a nurse and an astronaut, so she says she has to learn to read and write and go to school. LOL

I have a two week small job from my niebor! [Watering Flowers, Feeding their outdoor cat,Getting the newspaper,etc.(Last time I did it I got $50!)]

Even if I am a little short of it right now um...hubby is feeling better, my jasmine is blooming, the thai pepper plant has oodles of blooms, and the weather is PERFECT right now. Warm during the day, cool at night. And we do not have to leave the ranch for ANYTHING for the next two days - LOL. Going to relax, do some ranch work, house work, computer work, play SBF...

I'm going to college in About 5 weeks. I just got a boyfriend today. My birthday's coming up. And I have the next 3 weeks off of work.

Well, my softball team won a tournament, I graduated a grade (it wusn't high school though) on thursday, i dumped my annoying, rude, selfish boyfriend (FINALLY!), and now its summer!!!

Well, while I was at church some lady said that my drawings (I doodle) were great. That was nice of her!

My only good news is that my friends and I went to Walmart to fill out an application for a job and I was the only one that passed the test they have as part of the process. My friends weren't too happy though.

wow all this good news i think that tomarrow is the last day of school for me then i will be a 8th grader! whooooo!. Well nothing much other then that, i am getting purple adn red streaks in my hair tonight:)
