I ran onto this the other night looking for some photos and thought I'd share. If you have a lot of American wildlife animals, like moose, deer, elk, and so on it is a super resource for public domain photos. It is the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Dept. website so all the photos are taken by USFG employees and therefore in public domain. You DO need to save them to your computer and put them up at a suitable host (don't direct link) but they have a lot of photos.

Brilliant!
On that subject I'd like to share my favourite sources for stock images:

This one has a huge collection of high quality stock images in pretty much every category. Some conditions apply, so read through the terms before you use them. I find them useful for manips and stuff.

I've just realise the wording of my post may have given the false impression that those stock images are actually mine, as in made by me or something. I'd like to clarify that they're not. I just meant that they're the main source I use, and are particularly useful. They're made by an artist far more brilliant than me.
Sorry for any confusion. |
