I like number one, maybe you could add a shadow to it. That would look awesome.

And Cowgirls... There already is a shadow. However, it's in the middle of a storm. The sun is blocked by clouds, so there's not clearly defined shadows. Hence, the blob near her feet. If there were an actual, horse-shaped shadow, it would look odd.

I love your manip, Angel! I do agree in that #1 is better. I really like the drama of the photo, and the text just looks great, as does the tile texture you added. My only critique would be that the belly area of the horse could be a bit smoother. It looks a tad bit coarse. But overall, it's great!
