I intend to do accountancy, thats what I did/am doing at college, but I'm taking a year out and for now I work Mon- Fri in a private school, and weekends as a domestic in the hospital.
My other jobs have included:
Chef
Dog Trainer
SSPCA worker
Stable hand
Book keeper
Call centre sales
Machinist/Curtain maker
All you young uns who can't wait to grow up....don't wish your life away. Working is mostly a pain, especially if you aren't lucky and you hate your job. OK, honestly working sucks, so enjoy your youth, what I wouldn't give to only have to go to school every day again....lol |

First job out of high school was the Army, during the first Gulf War. Since, I've managed restaurants and did office work and now build houses. |

I haven't read John Ringo has he wrote? And thats pretty cool RZ I have always wanted to have a farm, but of course I can't haha
Linksage I am sure you will find something, and you won't run out of time
Thats a lot Cosmosxx haha wow, must have been fun being a chef?
See thats what I did Alabama, except for the fact I am still in HS, I am a senior now, they have made it so you can join as a JR and you are 17, which is what I did. I tell you though, it really sucks going to high school after you have been to basic. |

John Ringo write mostly S-f, has a couple co written with David Weber, but he has a series caled Paladin of Shadows about an ex SEAL who ....breaks things that need breaking!
Cosmox, you realize we;re setting ourselves up to be writers? It would take a couple of pages to list everything Ive done, bearing in mind that I have occasionally worked 2-3 jobs, and am rapidly becoming a doddling old fart |

They had it when I was in too, I just graduated early.. Called deferred training back then. You did basic between Jr and Sr year and then did reserve (Army Reserves) training one weekend a month until you graduate. |

I graduate as a veterinarian on the 5th of December. That's what my job is going to be.
Before that I sold stationary over summer holidays and ran a stall at a market. |

The courses are changing to 5 or 6 years in Australia. I believe it's longer overseas. |

Pet groomer here. Been doing it for almost 19 years now: I occsionally handstrip and groom a few of my clients for show, but for the most part, I have to try to make pets with improper and damaged coats and equally-difficult temperaments and/or medical conditions look as nice as possible while keeping them as comfortable as possible. Above all, my motto is "Humanity before vanity!"
I got my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Biology and taught at apublic school along with my night job tutoring at Sylvan learning center until I suffered Congestive Heart Failure in 2000. I re-prioritized and went back to grooming.
My very first job was working at a stable. I didn't have my driver's license then, and Mom got tired of driving me 20 minutes for 3 hours' work, so she made me quit. I was soooo angry at her! Of course, since this was back in 1990, I've forgiven her!
That's where I'm at right now, but who knows where I'll be in a few years! You never can tell...
