The Story-A story by Heather- Chapter 1-12 (mystery-fantasy)

Here's Chapter one of my story. The setting is nighttime at the beach.

Chapter 1: The Night

It was cold at the beach but totally worth it for the firworks display. The bright lights lit up the beautiful dark night. The last bang ended everything. Once they ended, the seven of us started the mile walk back to the car. Suddenly, people started to run. People screamed and ran. Loud sirens of police cars started screaming in our ears. My family began to run. But I didn't. My legs wouldn't move. They screamed. But I didn't. I couldn't make my voice work. I sat down. I still had no idea what was going on.... until......

Chapter 2:
I heard a gun shot. Louder than the fireworks... louder than life. People continued to scream. I finally was able to move my legs. I ran up to a bunch of houses. People just kept shutting their lights out and locking the windows and doors. The police cars lost the person who shot the gun. In twenty minutes, everyone was gone. The sirens ended but everyones lights stayed off and doors shut and locked. The only noise you could here was the sound of the wind against the green trees. I felt completly alone. Correction.... I
was alone.... until I heard some rustled in the bushes.....

Oh thanks! It's a story in the making... I'm still trying to fix up Chapter 3.... Confused

I think I'll have it by SUnday. I can't make it tonight or tomorrow cause tonight I have a birthday party and tomorrow is school supply day. In 7th grade they give you their lists on the first day of school so... I'll get it up as soon as possible.

was alone.... until I heard some rustled in the bushes.....

Here's Chapter 3:
I balled my fingers into a fist. I was ready. The night was cold. It was dark and felt like I was in a bowl of really cold ice cream. I started to breathe faster and louder. I went over to the bushes. The rustles were louder then soft again then they were gone. I opened up the bushes, expecting to find a bullet in my chest, I found nothing. I huffed a sigh of relief and began walking towards the car but then something was coming in the distance. I heard a loud boom and I almost ran but again my voice and my legs wouldn't work. I heard another gun shot and I didn't know what to do. The thing got closer. It was a car. Someone yelled. It wasn't a scream. There were words. They pulled up. A sixteen year old rolled down the window and screamed: "GET IN!"

A sixteen year old rolled down the window and screamed: "GET IN!"

Chapter 4:

I panicked and was shocked by his words. "GET IN!" He yelled louder. Another gun shot. At the sound I jumped into the front seat of the car. He started moving. I was breathing fast. I looked at him.
"Oh, hi." He said pleasently. "Mind my manners. My name is Toad."
He continued driving at a speed of 100. He looked at me. In his hands he held a burger from a fast food place and a drink. he drove with his knees. He was just staring at me.
"Oh, umm..." I tried remembering my name... "Alexis." I practically shouted. "Well, hello Alexis." He said and smiled.
"Shouldn't you be watching the road?" I asked.
"Sure I could watch the road...." Toad said. Then he continued looking at me. I thought about the descion I made about going into the car. I thought of how wrong I was. I knew I was wrong when a building stood in front of us. My heart began to race. I looked at Toad. he just laughed. He stopped laughing long enough to take a bite of the burger. Then he started laughing manickly. I panicked. I tried reaching for the steering wheel. He still laughed....

Chapter 5:

I grabbed the steering wheel away from the building. Toad stopped laughing and stood up straighter. "Hold on, sweetheart. What do you think your doing?" He said. My eyes were wide with shock. "Saving us from a car crash!?!?!?!" I practically yelled. "Chill, girl... I won't let anything hurt you. Listen you gotta trust me. If you can't, close your eyes." And I did. I felt us back up and speed up again. I hid my face. I still peeked. When we headed towards the building my heart started pounding again. I started breathing fast. I expected a crazh when we were about to hit the building but...

There is Chapter 4.... now I'm leaving a little time between 4 and 5 to build some suspence... I already know whats gonna happen in Chapter 5 though...
