I would like to make a public apology on behalf of that i beleived i betrayed all of you, This was my decision to make this apology and i was never even asked to do so.I would like to apologise as i was unnaware to the fact that people payed REAL money to create breeds/colours/etc and i became an unknowledgeable newbie overbreeder, i bought Endangered and Threatend horses, bred them like crazy and played around and had fun, then i got bored with them and began to lose lots of money, so i sold them, as i wanted them gone fast i listed them for 5mill each on the market, some had stats in the NO WAII!!'s so they wernt all bad, but most were...sound bad still, yes, but mind you i had listed over 150+ horses at this price...even worse, not realising this brang down value of those breeds DRAMATICALY, i have since now released all but 35 of them with only 16 for sale at 25Mill each and only 6 for stud at 5mill each, i have kept only the best out of my lot and i now have a new aim, as i am more knowledgable on the game and its statistics i have decided that any horse i breed from now on is in consideration and will be stat caped (all stats to NO WAII!!) unless there is a legitamit reason (ie: too old to train without becoming too old to breed, and for some reason as to why i would even want to breed that horse)This goes for all my animals aswell, although i mainly only play for my horses.
Again i would like to apologise to ALL SBF players and erdge all novice players to think before breeding and listen to the older players who know what they are doing!!!
I am deeply sorry for all the damage i have caused and if there is anything you would like me to do for you dont be afraid to ask, i may have been 'blind' before, but i dont bite!
I hope you can forgive me and grant me a new chance as a new player, but with experience now, into the game with a new change for the better.
Thankyou,
Domino. |

Kudos to you hun, for taking this course of action...
While the apology wasn't neccesary, it stands in good stead that you've seen the error of your ways and I am sure, on that count, you will be forgiven...
I see you making an effort to make amends, I see that you have listened to advice from other players, and so I don't see why you can't start fresh...All players make mistakes at one time or another, moreso if you are new...
Thank you for the apology, and thank you for trying to fix your blunder... |

Domino, you bring up a valued point that I think needs to be addressed.
I fell into the same hole with the color 'midnight' in foxes. As a newbie I was completely unaware of the economic standards of SBF. Being poor myself at first, I had no way of knowing that older players most always have at least 50 million on hand, if not hundreds, and studded one of my male midnights for far too little. Of course now I know better, but it's too late; I just went through and charted the whole family tree of my first bred pair...it's astounding--and I only really looked at red and arctic variations so I could avoid inbreeding.
Point is, I don't think it's fair of anyone to judge when there isn't a decent guide anywhere about the price value of animals, and that includes on the Ethical Breeders Association page. There are tips, sure, but how is someone supposed to know what a 'good price' is if they don't have a clue about the real economy yet? 200k may be nothing to us older players, but for a newbie who can't afford to make big-prized events, and who doesn't have any decent animals to compete with, they may think that that amount is quite enough since it's so expensive in their current situation.
I see the insults get tossed around here all the time, and yet no one's bothered to offer some kind of clue in the contributions about it. I'll attempt to remedy that tonight, but someone may need to double check because even I still don't have the best idea about pricing... |

Thank you for that heart felt apology, you didn't need to do it but it shows growth on your part as a player on SBF, your learning and doing what you can too fix any mistakes. I know everyone makes mistakes especially when they are new players, I did myself before I figured things out. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask any of the older players and that includes all of you newer players, don't be afraid to ask. Any of the players who have been here awhile will be happy to help. |

thanks guys, you were all a big help and if it wasnt for you'se who knows how i would have ended up, and as for the Ethnical Breeders Association there does need to be a page on examples of priceing as it would help make alot of newbies relise just how important it is to price right and not overbreed, but otherwise its a great association. SBF is a much better place for me i think now and it because of the older players helping me out, so thank you all |
