Heres a poem I wanted to post that i wrote

[Lil*Angel]

Be with the one that makes you happy,
The one that makes you smile,
The one that makes you laugh,
And each day worth while,
Live life for the moment,
Try hard to make it last,
Because life is so short,
It goes by so fast,
So when you find love,
Don't let it slip away,
Hold it forever,
And cherish it each day,
As long as you are happy,
That is what you should do,
Love that someone and let them know,
Before your life is through.

Okies! Here are my latest:
Believe
When you really want something
sometimes you have to swim a little
deeper...
You cant give up just because
things dont come easy...
You have to overcome the obstacles
and face your fears...
But in the end, its all worth
while Life is full of ups and downs,
but if you believe in yourself
you will always come through with
flying colors...Value Friendship,
love and faith...Never
underestimate yourself.
Believe in yourself

The Half of Life
Laden with yellowing pears,
And with wild roses filled,
The Land in the Sea,
Lies swans,
Drunk with your kisses,
You dip your head
In the water.
Alas, where can i find, when
Winter arrives, the flowers?
Where the light of the sun,
the shadows of the Earth?
The walls rise
Speechless and cold;in the wind,

Life's Changes
Life is full of changes we all face,
Happening without warning or trace,
If only we could have known in advance
Could we have changed history by chance?
Some face such a broken heart
Could we have known, been a little smart?
No i think life wanted us to feel this love,
Lifted with feeling like the flight of a dove.
The turmoil of loosing someone close,
A person our heart loves the most,
Be it Mother, Father, Husband or Wife,
...They were taken from our heart...
Can we move on without their gift of life?
Life sends such challenges our way,
Is there an answer why they couldnt stay?
They were given to us for a special reason
Even if it was just for a season.
Accepting the love so nourished,
Moving on with memories cherished
A stronger person onward we tread,
Life being empty without them instead.
Knowing God has more for us to feel,
To experience with such appeal,
Moving forward with adventures to be found
Life a new dawn, with wonders all around.

Heart
A heart bound with barbed wire
Bleeds with every beat, fears to beat
For every pulse brings pain,
How does healing come?
Can tortured tissue grow,
enfold the barbs, embrace the pain,
and beat again with joy?

Someday
Someday everything will all make perfect sense,
So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through
the tears, and keep reminding yourself everything
happens for a reason.

Your love
Your love warms me like my favorite morning tea,
Your love comforts me like a lake in August heat,
Your love melts me from my eyes to my toes,
Your love means everything too me, and i will
never let you go.

Forget him
Forget his name
Forget his face
Forget his kiss
His warm embrace,
Forget the love that you
once knew,
Remember he has
someone new,

The last one Forget Him is based on a true life, My life, basically in the whole poem. ='( But even though I still have his memories...There is still some chance, he'll be with me...

Isn't it funny how some special
people realize they aren't special
at all?
They're thoughtful without even
thinking about it.
They're always right there when
you call.
They share, not even respecting
a thing in return.
Yet always seem richer, forgiving--
Isn't it lovely how those special
people can teach us so much about
living!

The Path
Look back at the path you have taken.
