I need hep with my poster for fair, this is all i got. Its on siamese coloration. If you know any good websites or know somthing please tell me. Did i get anything wrong?
Intro
The Siamese cat is a pointed cat. All Siamese have a cream colored body and darker points. The Siamese comes in two variations, modern and applehead (traditional.) The points are caused by a heat sensitive gene making the ears, tail, face, and legs darker.
Points
There are three different types of points.
Solid: solid colored points
Lynx (tabby): Heavy stripes on points, faint stripes on body.
Tortie: Tortoiseshell pattern on points
Colors
At first all Siamese were seal point. Seal points have very dark (almost black) points. Chocolate point is a milky brown. It takes their color a while to develop. Blue points are not literally blue. Blue refers to a grey color. Lilacs have very grey light points. The grey is so light it looks like a white Siamese. |
