Okay, the fair for my county (not going to be told) is next week! not like the day after Sunday but the week after that! I'm showing Rabbits and Dairy Goats! I need help! My goat won Grand Champion at Pre-Fair but now she is just horrible! She gets better in the stadium but I'm a Novice so I'm not sure if this will be the same still. So if you have any advice on showing Dairy Goats, or Rabbits please either pm me or reply!

Thanx,
DaisyRabbitMae

not sure about goats, and I only show rabbits in ARBA shows, but:

check over with a fine toothed comb for faults/DQ's

make sure they are in top condition

dont take an animal you cant afford to lose, and be prepared to quarantine after they come home

if you want to sell animals make sure you have cage tags with your contact info

where are you in AZ? I lived in Tempe for about 8 years

I'm in *edit*, thanx for the info but what do u mean don't bring an animal you don't want to lose? Also, does PITA bother the rabbit 4-Hers too? I know for Dairy Goat I have to be prepaired to talk to them and I have to watch my goats closely or else they will do something.

Animals can contract illneesses at shows - not everyone is responsible about bringing sick animals

Animals can overstress & not recover

idiots can open cages, feed them crap, poke at them, try to pick them up and drop them

Criminals, and i include PETA, can steal them, or try to release them

okay thanx. ya PETA killed a pig last year. they let it out and it ran accross the street and got hit by a car. Also don't people who really want to win poison other animals to win? that also happened last year, to somebody my parents know really well.
