Good night, it takes a long time to go through 3,629 animals!!! I didn't think I'd EVER get done. I turn around, and it seems that half my farm was ready to retire... and the first of my horses from the very beginning of my game play finally retired.
Any-hoo, I've got a few tips for those who are having the same problems as I was:
1. Try to look through one building a day for animals whose age is advanced. If you're not sure when an animal retires, look it up under "Species Details".
2. Look through buildings that house animals with lesser lifespans more frequently (i.e. Rodent Cage, Ferret Cage, etc.)
3. If you're particularly worried about a specific species with a short lifespan, such as Guinea pigs, use the "My Farm" page and look up that species by age (descending)
4. When an animal retires, look at the building that it's housed in and do a quick check of all of the others of its species. Often, when one retires, there are others that are close to the same age.
Good luck and play considerately, all!

Great ideas! I've been trying to do the 1 building at a time - still had a couple move to FL. I wish we had some kind of warning, like "Animal such-and -such has a retirement party", or Animal such-and -such has needs geritol", |
