I already have one of my dream animals....my black Arabian mare:

But somewhere down the line I'd also like a pinto five-gaited Saddlebred...either a 50/50 mix of white and solid or minimal white. I don't like mostly-white pintos >_<

Khol, your girl is beautiful, I love her dapples!

Well, like Khol, I already have one of mine. My chestnut Tb/Hano cross mare Winnie.

My other dream horse would be a big blood bay Holsteiner or Hanoverian mare, with no white except a snip. She's have big floaty gaits and lots of scope of course too. My dream dog would be a big, solid black newfoundland male.

Well, my dream boy is not 100% mine, I lease him.

Just like from so many horses of storybooks, he was rescued. He was at a kill house after being a racehorse. Big, mean, and could only gallop pretty much. Bells would send him flying. He isn't pretty conformation-wise and has scars.

Now I'm no hot-shot show rider and I won't even say I'm that great of a rider even after 8 years. I still fall off like most riders do. I still get yelled at to correct my leg position or whatever. :]

He temporarily paralyzed one of his old rider's arms when he bit them. He bolts, spooks, kicks, and rears when he feels the need. We don't really win at shows because he has bad 'movement', and he takes pony strides even though he is a 16.3 hh thoroughbred. Sky barely scrapes over 2'6". He almost bit the judge once. But he tries for me and always gets lots of cookies at the end.

The thing that makes this horse my dream is that he loves me. I can see it in his eyes. I know some of you guys might think this doesn't exist but if you've ever had a horse that throws you off and you just laugh at him for being silly and he comes over an apologizes, you'd understand.

Thats why sky is my dream horse and it won't ever change even as my friends upgrade and get fancier show horses. I don't want them, I have all I need.

Aww Bezz. That sounds fantastic. Thats the kind of connection I would want with my horse (When I finally get one).

I don't necessarily want the prettist or the most graceful horse, I just want one I can work with, train, love and bond with.

There is a horse I love to ride where I work. He's a chunky cob type and not a "handsom" horse. He jumps, not gracefully, but he gets over it. He bolts for no apparent reason than all of a sudden the corner of the school has monsters (lol). But I LOVE him. If I had the money I would so buy him Razz

However, I do love my coloured horses, especially the heavy breeds. I'd love to be the proud owner of a Gypsy Vanner. But I don't think that will EVER happen lol.

My dream animal is either a Chincoteague Pony or Morgan.

Color really doesn't matter, though I like greys. Smile

I'd love to own MEMC On Target. He's a Buckskin Splash Morgan colt.
