Confused on Guppies

It says under species details that guppies only live to be like 8 or something but I have seen other guppies that are like 20 something??

Animals will continue aging past there usual age limit if the owner hasn't taken an exam. Exams let the older animals go play shuffleboard but if like you left the game and didn't empty your farm your animals would continue to age but never die. That is why there are animals over there age limits in the marketplace and such.
