This is just a sample to see if anyone would be intrested in it.
Moutain Cats by Cowgirls Rule
She walked a lonely path, one unknown by the species of house cats. The darkness eneveloped all light, and all refelctions. Sounds were absorbed into the never ending darkness around her. Somewhere above, as sliver of the moon cast out a pearlescent glow. The mountains loomed above her, her claws clacked against the stone "trail". Her breath steamed up the frigid air surrounding this eerie pathway.
Suddenly, all darkness turned to light as she reached the mountain path. The mountains rose high above the place she used to call her home. She sat down, her ginger fur blending into the sand. Her claws extended, her ears pricked foward in eagerness. She sat there, taking in everything she had gone through to make it here. The sun rose high in the sky, it's warmth seeping into her fur.
A scrabling in the sand nearby awakened her instincts. She pricked her ears toward the sound, and opened her mouth, scents wafted in. She picked out the scent of her prey and dropped down low. She skimmed the sand, not letting out one sound. She grabbed the prey swiftly with her mouth and bit down. The prey fell limp in her jaws. She settled down and ate mouthfull after mouthfull of delicious shrew. |

What do you think about it? Feel free to critique it. I'd love that in fact. |
