Happy Birthday to all!! Here are the rules.
1. If you have a birthday in September, list it here.
2. I can't say exactly what you'll get, but I will try to get everybody something.
3. I'll contact each responder if I have any questions about what you would like or need.
4. Please be reasonably patient, especially if there are a lot of birthdays in one month. But of course let me know by PM if it's been like 3 months since you've heard from me, lol.
5. Sorry, at this time I won't be including tokens in this, I have other projects I'm working on that I need tokens for.
6. If you want to help with donations of some kind, I won't refuse it but contact me personally by PM. I want to keep all the gifts a surprise. I will give kudos at the end of the month to all the donators that may help out.
7. Complainers will be excluded, and I will be keeping track of that. I'm not doing this for publicity or popularity or anything other than just me wanting to share some goodwill to SBF all year long. I don't want anyone to feel bad if you get an animal and find out someone else got a little badly needed money or whatever. I won't be showing any favoritism in this.
8. Any questions, please ask by PM.
Thank you!!
Special thanks to Kayla Blue, my August Donator!!

Why do you have to write such pointless things after every post?!

Please don't use this thread to discuss your personal issues. These are just for players to list their birthdays in the appropriate month so I can give them gifts. Thank you. |

This is a really cool thing you're doing here, EDZ. Incidentally, Sept. 2, which is when this post was created, was my Steele's birthday. He was the sweetest little Weim. puppy that I lost due to a congenital heart defect at the tender age of 7 1/2 months (9/2/01-4/15/02).
Keep on doing what you're doing: there's no such thing as too much goodwill here!

Thank you for the compliment and encouragement.
On a side note, I have raised dogs and worked with them practically my whole life. I know very well about how hard it is to lose them. I've lost them at all ages for various reasons and it never gets easy. I still have a couple that miss extremely. One was a 'Lassie" type standard farm collie that I had from second grade until a couple months after my graduation. Laddy was my everything. The second was a Border Collie my late Father brought home for me because he thought he was getting me a Sheltie. I took one look at the little black ball of fur and said "Oh no, Dad, do you realise what a ride we're in for?" Indeed it was a wonderful ride that ended far too soon when my "Sppedy" was found dead in his box the day after my Dad's funeral. It was a shock on top of a very bad week of dealing with the car wreck that nearly wiped out my whole family and did take my Dad's life. Sorry, I'm rambling.. Last month marked 7 years since the wreck, but it's still hard.
Anyways, on a better note to end with I have 2 dogs currently that are my life for now. Speedy's daughter, Angel, and our Cocker Spaniel, Dakota, who has just literally adopted my Diabetic mother as his. ) Eh, he comes over to my house to visit me when he feels the need to make sure I'm still alive, LOL. |
