I would really, really appreciate it if more studs were on the market for animals that are harder to get, like giraffes, anteaters, squirrels, dinosaurs, ect. WE the community need these new genes off the market and you can make CASH for providing it. Personally, I think every single male should be put up for stud because that increases your chance of making better money. And even if it's only $50 your making that builds up over time. But please, I beg that you put all of your animals that are housed in buildings beyond the pasture be put up for stud. Even if two are related, even if two are exactly the same you can still benefit from doing so.

Thank you for reading,

If every single male animal in the game was up for stud that would lead to a lot of over breeding and that is what everyone is trying to avoid. We are trying to keep numbers low.

For the rarer animals that need to be bred to keep them from becoming completely lost, animals up for stud can help. Yet, you should always have the permission of the creator, if they are still around. =]

Welcome Luikana. Please check out the "Ethical Breeders Assosiation" club board and posts, to understand why this ISN'T such a good idea. Please feel free to message me or any of the other members of the EBA if you require more information. All the best

I think what she is trying to ask is that those with the species of animals that aren't as popular to collect put there's up for stud. Even if its only putting up an Ov/Ov animal. If you look at the market under some of the less popular animals like Giraffe's there are only 5 out for stud. Gazelles, there is only one public stud. Hyena, three. If someone wants to replace or plus up there number of an odd animal for prestige value they can only do so for so long with a limited gene pool.

In the past I haven't put up any studs because I thought the less rare animals would be pointless and I didn't want to share my really rare variations. But it may not be pointless to put up those Ov/Ov males for stud after all, especially if the species is rarely collected. Like Gazelles.

Of course I'm still against putting other peoples creations up for stud and those that are suppose to remain rare.

Thanks Keema that's what I ment because it's hard to keep a species such as Gazelles around on my farm because these animals do die eventually and if there's only one stud on the market I cannot breed any more than one generation because otherwise it's incest.

just prize it rigth and then any animal created by the game, or of variety 7 or less can be put up for stud

sorry but these are really beyond failproof saving because all of them can be goten through the rescue button, so in the rare spicies where there migth just be 3 variations all game made, then hogtying variety 1 isnt going to help maintain a good stock of this spicies for those who have it

no one created that variety 1, and the rescue likelyhood as well as breeding one without having another var 1 isnt that big, however it can help the person replace their OP animal just cause they need a father

i had this problem in the NZ enclosure and had to resort to lending studs, or pay for rescues so i could breed them, generaly with bad stated animals

so yeah for the rare spicies i totaly agree, get the game made and 7-10 variations into the market so its posible to maintain good animals in these spicies

there just is no way to save op creations, because anyone and all can rescue them, so you add that low variety then your adding it because you want it in the game...not because you can expect solo rigths to it if you bothered to read game rules and regulations.

Wink I have plenty of studs, though some are private. I.E. You can't just click 'em and breed instantly. This is only on my rare, rare animals so people breed responsibly. I have to see the female first to ensure no cross- breeding or breeding a horribly statted female etc... I keep my prices low until they're stat maxxed and are high earners.
