She is dark red, not too common a color for the golden retriever breed. In the last pic, she looks brown because of the light, but the other pics are of her real color. It is a variation of color recognized by the AKC, so it does apply to standard. I get a lot of compliments on her beauty, and color. She's 4 months older now than in those pics, and I'm going to start showing her soon. I hope she does well!

nods, we had a golden when i was lil like 3-4 years, then my sis was born and she was alergic so we had to rehome her

she used to drag the sled with me in and was aparently a very nice kid friendly dog, she would allow me to pick food and whatnot out of her mouth

Yeah, Clover will let me pick food from her mouth, too, but we haven't tried anything like a sled, yet! I'm sorry you had to rehome your doggie, she or he sounded like a great dog.

she i dont remember her much i was fairly small, but got the stories from my mom and all

my sis outgrown her alergy though it came back in teens small dosage

so we have dogs my mom is a breeder of another breed now, and even when it was discovered it had sligthly reapeared my sis had other allergies she was on med for already, and was big enough to make own descisions, and as it was only minor unlike when she was small, she made the descision to tell the docs they could just give her meds cause it was no way she would live a dogfree life Razz

i think they may told her that it likely not the best idea to lay on floor and roll with the dogs, dunno, she do it anyway, she is 21 and seems to be doing fine, she is on med year around as said anyway due other allergies so dont think she notise the difference between dogfree house or house with dogs in it

and yeah all our puppies we sell do, well not all intialy but by the time they leave, we're the leaders so we get to take anything we want, simple as that, my mom on discovery of any puppies not accepting that will train them to do so

Wow, that's really great. What breed does your mom breed, just out of curiousity, and because I'm thinking of possibly breeding puppies for show someday.

you migth not know it though i know some places out of scandinavia it get kept as a national symbol or whatnot

but otherwise in scandinavia its much used along with other dogs in its imidiate class for mooshunting due to hunting style and hunting rules here

Norwegian Elkhound Grey is the one my mom keep, it group imidiatly with
Norwegian Elkhound Black
Sweedish Elkhound White
Jämthound
West Russian Laika
East Russian Laika

all these are common throughout finland, norway and sweeden and are on comon nicknamed as the moosehounting breeds
