Ok, I'm sorry but on that note, I officially give up.

I try to please everybody and fail so someone else can take over.

Be my guest anyone who feels they can manage this problem single handedly. You all have a free reign.

I'm sorry if I seem bad temered (I am at the mo) I've just got way too much on my plate at the moment

I have some animals that should be on the list.

Saifu ants. Threatened, over 35 pages of them.

Domestic long haired cats.

Dumbo rats(I don't really have a problem with them, as there are alot in real life aswell, but there is more than there need to be)

all have over 35 pages. ^^

I own a few dumbo rats, but I am in general not trying to breed my animals too much. Two animals a day in one enclosure, that's all. I want to join the association, but i breed too frequently even for that and sell too much to qualify on my own personal terms. I just feel bad releasing..

When you start counting animlas you need to somehow take into account that many are on inactive farms

I have been trying to find a female siamese dumbo rat, many that are listed are 20+ YEARS old and the farms/players have been inactive over a year

Tried to find the creator of Shiba Inus - no activity for well over a year, same for Greater Swiss Mountain dogs

I like the increase/decrease by percentages, but it is still not allowing for inactive players/animals

some of the inactive farms have pregnant animals, due over 400 days ago

I appreciate all of the hard work, everyone.

Basically, it looks like we're starting to get the point across, so pat yourselves on the back for that! As long as we stay vigilant, informed, and TACTFUL (can't over-emphasize this one), we should continue to see progress.

Nice job, all!

I counted 58 angel ferrets less than 8 years old between 11 active players today.
Of those about 20 had endangered colours.
About 3 of those ferrets are foundation pairs (by my count, may have missed some).
Up to 25% of the angel ferrets in the game may be related to Quick Step:http://www.sandboxfarm.com/viewanimal.php?idkey=945261
and more, ifyou trace back to his father Hiding Out: http://www.sandboxfarm.com/viewanimal.php?idkey=943590

Other male angels on offer include either son/grandson of Hiding Out or sons/grandsons of Andromeda or my last remaining foundation male.

My theory is that purebred Angel Ferrets aren't going to be happening without fresh foundation pairs, as there's basically two stud lines to chose from and many ferrets are closely related. I'm not sure how blackfoots are doing- they're the next breed on the list to look at.

79 Black Footed Ferrets below or just at the age of 8, belonging to relatively active players (some benefit of the doubt given to players who haven't taken an exam or appeared to log on for 2 months)

Up to 25 of these have been out of Pop Idol, though several of his black footed offspring have been released, his sons have produced at least 5 black foots. He is a son of Andromeda. In fact, Andromeda and BLACKFOOT HEARTBREAKER appear prominantly (sometimes twice on the first page) in most of the male blackfoot lines. There is also a foundie male.

*it's a small world after all*

D*S Norweigian Forest Cat count at ~80 less than 12, spread between 2 dozen players. There are many duplicates and there is one for (IMO) cheap stud.

It's called procrastinating with an addictive personality. The thing about this game is that we can chose how to play it. If you don't have something nice to say, why are you saying it?

Why do I keep finding myself humming, "I see your truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueee colors shining throuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggh..."? Twisted Evil

There are some people that rarely have ANYTHING nice to say. Sadly, they're seldom silent. I've got one at my second job that's exactly the same, and go figure, her performance is mediocre at best: I wasn't too sad when she got the tip of her finger bitten off because her handling skills are as lacking as her social skills. If that make me a bad person, so be it.

Getting back on-topic, it ALWAYS seems to be the people who have less to lose and more to gain (i.e. those that create little and capitalize on others' creativity more) that don't support the "responsible play" agenda. Almost every darn person on the "Top Players By Variations Created" were people I'd trade with and trust; also note that over half of the people who created more than 15 variations are INACTIVE. 15 out of the top 20 color creators and 12 out of the top 20 detail creators are inactive. SOMETHING is chasing them away, and I know for a fact, having known many of these players, that it's not just a coincidence (one of them is my fiance'). Forgive me, those that have put time and effort into this endeavor of ours... I've become awfully disillusioned myself, in case it's not obvious.

Does anyone still have interest in continuing this endeavor? I can only mediate behind-the-scenes so much... :mumbles something about having three jobs and wanting to win the lottery:

I'd continue it. Can't do every breed but can do perhaps just a handful. counting pages by itself doesn't work because several are inactive.

What can I say, I like population genetics. It's not real but it's close.

I don't mean being on the site.

I mean counting pages of animals, many inactive to compile lists for what purpose?

To go on witch hunts?

It takes the fun out of something that some people need to realise at the end of the day is a game.

A GAME PEOPLE.

Or maybe my RL is just honestly more complicated than some of yours. Amanda this is not directed towards you, I know you are very busy in RL.
