|
|
For all you UK dwellers.....
Who else was rudely awakened at 1am this morning with the earthquake?
It scared the living daylights out of me...(it's the first one I've ever experienced, as I slept through the one a few years back)
Some of my pictures fell off the wall and some ornaments decided to dance across my shelves.
The worst thing is, and this will give you ALL a laugh. I was reading ghost stories before going to sleep and for a split second there I thought it was the ghosties coming to get me.... (seriously)
Which just goes to show that even adults can have irrational thoughts.
Anyway just wanted to know what you all thought about it... |

Bwaha Mash! A while back a "ripple" of an earthie on the East Coast was felt where I live...I was watching television lying on the couch ( Deep Impact, no less! ) and for a split second....*coughs sheepishly* Needless to say, I sympathize!
My sister lives in London, and I heard about the quake on our news ( I live in New Zealand ) I emailed her asking if she felt it, and she didn't even know it had happened! I don't know whats worse...That it made the news here before it did over there, or that she was completely oblivious to the rumbling and trembling...Bless her and her heavy sleeping lol... |

I didn't even know it had happened until i put the radio on in the morning and they were talking about it. i must have slept through it lol. lots of my friends didn't know much about it either but some were talking about it. my next door neighbour felt it though she said it shook the bed. |

Maybe this is a lesson not to watch/read scarey things before bedtime lol
Vitani I am Soooo glad I'm not the only one that jumps to daft conclusions.
Pinkstar, no major damages (Just my pride as I ran into my sister asking what the hell was going on) ehm.
I am suprised there has been no aftershocks, or maybe there has but they've been so slight no one felt them?
Who knows, anyway thanks for replying guys |
