You dont have to care, but i need to talk about it. My youngest sister was hit by a truck last night and died on impact. I feel like its my fault! I was outside with her and my daughters while my son was taking a nap. I heard him start to cry and grabbed my 1 year old. i told the others to stay in the yard and went to check on him. While i was changing his diaper i heard tires screeching... She was only 5. |

Oh Trin, I wish I knew what to say right now.
I'm one of 16 and last year my four yr old sister died and we are still having issues about it.
The best thing you can remember is that no matter what your family says, they are just saying it because they are in pain. It's a time when you lash out because everyone feels like they could have done something and want to relieve themselves of guilt. |

I have no idea what to say, but I truly am sorry for you. I am one of four, I hate my dad and one of my sisters, we hardly ever get along. My other younger sister, and little brother(who is 5) get along fine with me. I think I can relate to what happened to you, because if I lost my little brother, I would be in shock, not wanting to accept the brutal truth. I truly hope you and your family go through this ok.
Many hugs.

I am so sorry to hear about that Trin. If there is anything we can do I am sure everyone on SBF will pitch in to do it. |

god.
I'm so sorry Trin. I can't believe...some irresponsible driver.
I am...one of three, actually. Zach just recently died due to overdose, but he was...old enough to know better.
Just...don't blame it on yourself, it is NOT your fault, no matter how many times you drill it into your head, it's not your fault. No matter who tries to shift the blame, no matter what you're told.. there is nothing you should blame yourself for.
zomg. I wish I could give you a hug...I really do.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but just think of it...it's a step into somewhere better, another life, I suppose. I keep being told that, even though I'm skeptical.
-bearhugs-

I'm so sorry Trin. Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault.
Someone in my town got murdered 2 weeks ago, she had a 15 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. Her daughter found her.
I only have a brother |

OMG. Trin hun, I am SO sorry to hear this devastating news. Luckily I have never lost anyone that close to me so I seriously have no idea what you must be going through.
I can however imagine the guilt and grief that you must be feeling. Please don't blame yourself. The driver of the truck was obviously not watching or paying attention.
Do you know who it was?
My heart and thoughts go out to you hun.
Hugs (and lots of them)

oh my ... I'm so sorry.
I know that losing a 5 year old sister probably means much more, but for me, I lost my 17 month old filly ... & Some days, I'm still in shock.
I can only imagine ... I don't know what to say. I'd say I'm sooo sorry for your loss, but after hearing that myself, it doesn't really mean much.
