So the twenty-first century, everyone cool has to be completly thick as a brick and everyone else is considered weirdos. Well i'm proud to be a weirdo. Look if ya don't think so listen to this. I'm a left handed, vegaterian, like the only smart one in my class, the owner of a half wiled cat, born with a dislocated hip and i can dislocate my thumb!!
So tell me about yourself all those different people out there! Go on, don't be frightened |

At our school, we're REALLY seperated by 'titles'. There's the popular snobs, the jocks, the nerds, the goths (in middle school!), and just people who don't give a crap about what they're called. I would be fitten into the 'I really don't give a crap what you call me' category. Or maybe I'd be a 'nerd'. But, at school, I'm hyped up on energy so I'm bouncing in my seat and I almost never shut up.
There's me. ^.^ lol |

Yeah me too! I'm a vegetarian.I'm left-handed. I am double jointed so I can pop my thumb out of place. One of my legs is slightly longer than the other so when I walk long distances it hurts.I also have three cats that can't stand any men other than my dad and I consider my rabbit my daughter. One of the brainiacs in the class which almost instantly makes you a weirdo at my school. I've never had a boyfriend either which I think doesn't really matter but they do. They make a list that states who is popular and who is not. There are eight people in our class. My name is on the bottom everytime. There are labels placed on everybody at our school.Sometimes I catch myself doin the same thing that they are doing and I have to remind that we are people and we are all special. God made us that way. |

First of all labels and what everyone thinks of you mean nothing. Once you're out of school the geeks and nerds rule the world. If people are only friends with you because you are popular then you don't want them as your friend. Same goes with boyfriends, if he wont date you because you are uncool then that's his loss and and you can do better.
That said, I'm a little weird too. I can dislocate my thumb and twist it backwards behind my hand, and I can put my feet behind my head and roll along the floor. I'm always thinking about and drawing horses and can not watch a movie with people riding without critiquing thier riding out loud or pointing out when they switch the horse out for its extra. I love the smell of horses. Queso (it means cheese in spanish) is actually one of my real life nicknames. I talk really loudly when I get excited. I have a sick and twisted sence of humor. I like to sit in the dark and just think about things. My only real fears in life are carbon monoxide and possesed garden gnomes. I love the color lime green and collect frog related items. I really do have stories that start with "One time at band camp." I still have candy left from 3 halloweens ago.
That was fun! |

My turn lets see I fit into the nerd category at school(or dork because I am an Orch Dork*which means orchestra dork). I have only 4 toes on one foot(well 5 but the 5th is a stub with no feeling or anything) I have broken all my fingers and toes, my wrist, shoulder, ankles, knee cap. I am ambidextrous(for all you out there that doesn't know what that means its I can do every thing but write with both hands). I am obsessed with horses and every thing in my life revolves around them. I am one of the smartest kids in all my classes but it don't do my work and don't get the greatest grades. |

hmm....well I am ambidextrous also, I pretty muchhad to be after I broke my right wrist and my professors still expected me to write essay tests in the same time everyone else did....
I was homeschooled till senior year of highschool by my overly odd mother. She was constantly changing religions or locations or how she was going to teach me....and eventually my "homeschooling" was me babysitting all day while she was out shopping or avoiding the family...(she is better now, kinda)...
I am one of 16 kids, 14 of which were adopted, most with special needs. I had one sister who was like my daughter, Katie, but she died a little over a year ago at age 4.
I get very awkward when I am in nervous situations and end up saying weird things that I think are funny...but it's just weird and awkward after that... I usually have funky hair colors too like blue or firetruck red....which distracts people from what I am saying
I'm a super senior in college (changed my major senior year). I'm studying Sociology, mainly cause it's people I fit in with.
hmmm....I'm often discribed anywhere from "that weird punk girl" or "that weird quiet girl." And none of my coworkers or college mates can ever believe that I'm getting married winter 2008 to a prep-ish Med school student from the suberbs....but I love him and he loves little old weird me.... |

I've been called strange, weird, quiet, comp obsessive etc for years. Like my daughter weird is a badge I wear with honour.

Wow there is so many things i forgotten like i also have one leg larger than the other. (wow me and Cecelia sound like sisters). I had some trouble using stirrups (cause one had to longer than the other). I've sprained nearly all of my fingers TWICE!! i broke my left thumb bone of the bit it's been connected to and no it's grown back oddly shaped! i consider my cat as either my son or brother (I'm an only child). I live in Aussie on a 20 acre property. I've got brown hair which might sound normal but it's a freak of nature because all of my close relatives (grandparents, parents, aunt... no wait she's adopted) all had blond hair. When i broke my left hand my teachers all made me write with the other hand even when one of the boys had a dislocated thumb earlier and the teachers wrote for him . I'm a real tom boy (like to climb trees, swim in dams and has a very good attack and defense mechanism). I swim (is fourth in the state under 12 girls (state SA)). I also have danced ballet for 7 years (going on eight years) which means i can kick really high so it scares the boys off and they don't trouble me much. That's me defense mechanism. I get teased often in my 80 kids school because i'm a lefty and a vego. I've never had a bf (and i don't want one with the choice in my school) lol. i work with a down syndrome girl (Tilly) who is just so sweet. I think that's about it! |

Oh Pete, where to start....
And where to finish too...
I like being 'not completely ordinary' to the point of I've had the comment "she's not right, that girl" more than once in my life...I relish the fact that I'm like no other human in the world, and I feel everybody should be proud of their own individuality. No matter how much we may try to imitate others, we will never "be" them and I for one, would hate it to be any other way...
And for those who hate "labels"......Weird is also a label
Be who you are, and be proud of it. One of my favourite quotes is "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission" so for those that are still in school and struggling to be accepted by the "in" crowd, ponder this: Why would you want to be part of a group that makes you work for their acceptance in the first place? Genuine people will like you as you are, and they make the truest friends...
Sorry, ranty.... *gives cookies* |

eep...I clicked on this link, so does that make me weird? lol. I sit on my laptop most of the day playing with imaginary ( Are we really sure?) animals. My favorite food is mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, & Mac & cheese all mixed up together. I eat spinach, read anime fanfiction, still watch cartoon network (when I'm not sleeping or on my Laptop) and I tape Pro wrestling to watch all week in between cartoons. Speaking of sleeping, I got what I call 'Bear' or 'Hibernation' syndrome. If there's snow on the ground I can stay in bed all day, seriously. I have no job, nobody will hire me cause I'm not a beauty queen or schooled further than High School (9 months of secretarial really doesn't count for anything nowadays). I play with plastic horses (Breyers, Hartlands, etc that my mom calls 'toys' - What nerve, lol) I am 40-something. Sometimes I have to go back to the year I was born and figure it out on my fingers. I love to read & write, but the sight of numbers shuts my brain down, especially in a mathimatical formation of some type beyond multiplication. Man, I really didn't intend on sharing that much. Thanks a lot, Choco. lol |

They say that you spend 9/10ths of your speech talking to yourself in your head. I'm sure I tip the scales. My mind is my safe haven; I dream up things in there, different lands and creatures, talk them over with my horse, and, if I'm lucky, type them down before they slip away. I'd be jsut as comfortable being adressed by one of my character's names as my own. I sunk into depression the entire time I was reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy; I barely slept at all. At the ending, I was so happy I danced and got my first full night's sleep in weeks. I confuse my own self with some of my characters, and I'll think something is happening that isn't. I dream about my characters. They're my first thoughts when I wake up. I'll replay a single scene in my head hundreds of times, and if it isn't just right, I'll throw it out and start over. I talk to trees. I know that they are just plants that can't feel a thing, but if you listen to the wind playing with their leaves, it almost sounds like they're saying something. And it'd be really neat if they did.
That's me. Got a problem with it? Get over it. |
