I need some feedback on a colouring that i have recently finished on photoshop. It is one of my first real attempts at colouring but i have a lot of tips from btd.
I am proud to say that this is all my work but with lots of tips!

wow thanks! And someone asking me for pointers - (not something that you see everyday).
Well i owe all of my talent (if i have any) to btd. btd helped me so much through my colouring stages. I think i have finally nailed it though. I mean i am actually pleased with this one.
Well if you get a lineart to use and open it in photoshop, then choose the colour of your animal (say you chose a chestnut brown). Then get a darkish chestnut colour. When you have done all that, pm me and i will tell you the rest. |

I added in the shading I thought you were missing. Your sholdure line was a bit to steep and didn't come up far enough. You needed to shade in the crest of the neck and your barrel also need some more shading. I added in some highlites on the flank and rump. I took away some of your face shading and colored in the eye.
I would recomend Khols coloring guide, it really helped me alot. Great job for a first attempt! |
