Pegasus

Hoof beats rush across the sky
Silver wings sweep when dusk is nigh
The barn owl hoots a magical tune
As a snow white streak passes the golden moon
Pure and good when evil ventures near
Strong, and elegant, knows no fear
A galloping herd across the moor
The herd spread their wings and soar
Faster than an eagle flies
Pegasus dances gracefully across the skies
Whispers in the wind, Pegasus speaks
Listen dwellers, the world is bleak
When the world seems to be near its end
It’s Pegasus that helps you, friends
Guarding over everyone
A guardian angel, with a mane of sun
To match the medallion of gold
Containing the strongest magic of old
Around his arched neck dangling across his chest
Full of magic that makes you feel your best
Remember when you’re feeling down
Pegasus will stop that frown
He makes you smile, laugh, have fun
Enjoy yourself in snow, rain or sun
Coming from an enchanted land
Where horses live upon the sands
Galloping freely, where they wish to go
Following the end of the bright rainbow
Far far away from the gloom of where we stay
All dark things are chased away
But Pegasus comes to look after you
Each day his magic makes your dreams come true
After Pegasus has finished his daily rounds
Everyone is safe and sound
Pegasus rests his weary head
He lies upon a cloudy bed
