Yea, that's a good idea, then you could see if there were a spark still without committing too much.

The mother sounds like a total bitch, it would be a lucky escape for you IMHO. Lol.... if you stayed with him you'd probably always be the "second" woman in his life.... *Ewwww*

Rolling Eyes

Go see your ex, spend some time, do things together, and you'll know if it's right.

*Hugs*

Edit- Also, if you were important enough to him, he'd stand up for you over her, my ex didn't, he backed his mum all the way, so he had to go...

Twisted Evil

It ain't no ménage à trois....

While I like a guy thats close to his family (family is a big thing for me and is one of my 'deal breakers' in certain situations) there is nothing cool about a too close relationship...

Mummys boys. Ugh. Cut the apron strings already...

But then...So are exes. I'm one of those people that thinks the past should stay there....Friends again, maybe, but another relationship rarely works out, and it hurts even more second time round. Like the saying goes..Fool me once, shame on you...Fool me twice, shame on ME.

But sometimes it does work...I'm not too jaded to admit that, lol!

A pro/con list, while it sounds nerdy, can actually help....If the con far outweighs the pro....Well.....You won't need that to tell you its a dead end. You'll know in your heart.
Just be careful with the ex, that your feelings aren't being swayed by his absence, etc etc.....Time is a great healer...But it also fogs the memory of the bad things. Tread really carefully...Especially if you ultimately plan to up sticks and be with him. Your current bf has feelings too, so if you do decide its over, do it right....A quick, clean break. Like a bandaid. Let him know why though.....Or his next relationship is doomed as well and I'm sure hes not a bad guy...Just a little hopeless.

Yah, I just. I dunno.

Him and I are going camping in 3 weeks, I think I'm gonna lay it all out then and see what he has to say..

Right now, if I try and bring something up, he gets kinda pissed off and stuff, but than he goes home and his mom tells everyone, "*me his gf* always pisses him off, shes such a ____" it's harsh.. Soooo

I don't liek to talk about anything, 'important', or serious because he obliviously gets kinda upset and stuff, than I get in trouble for it..

Blah. Sad

Whoa, he calls you a bit-- behind your back?

For me, that isn't a heathy relationship at all. Your just trying to work things out, and he's pushing you away in the aspect.

For a heathy relationship, you N-E-E-D to be able to talk, and if your not able to....

I think you should talk to him, during the campout. Try to work things through.
