of those 3 posibles you showed the 3rd reminded me of the rabit we had when we where small

it was a dwarf something, made us laugh when my aunt in more reasent times brougth home a rabit she claimed to be dwarf, and the lil bunny kid was already as big as our full grown had been

sometimes wonder why she got a rabit after the way ours treated her, ie he was a full male, and he always sprayed her, we think due to her perfume

our neighbour had one as well i remember and they would play togheter when we took them outside (this is heaps of years ago, i was like 6 or 7 when we got the rabit, and he lived for 5 years so like 11-12 when he died, so my memories a lil foggy on that)

is it normal for females to be agressive, since you said you hoped neuturing her would help. And also have her behaviour been observed for analyse of what makes her react and why that may be, considering she is a rehomed one i am guessing her background story may not be known, nor the type treatment, upbriningin and socialisation experiences she had.

She isn't being aggressive, its the males being aggressive to her this may be because she isn't spayed but they are neutured. Elgar was fine until he started smelling her bum. Rolling Eyes Then he got aggressive. Poor Nia just sits there, but apparently she hasn't been very active so maybe she has something wrong with her that the other bunnies can detect but humans can't. All I know about her background is that she has had a litter with a male who has now been rehomed.

yes thats just it...like when do it happen and why, ie analyse situation and then dig into posible reasons

but sound like may be something there then signal wise...so hopefully the nurturing will help..otherwise since they are neutured, tried with another female? or a younger rabit?, young animals often more adaptable to things

i aint expert on rabbits but i am sure there is people who are akin to with cats and dogs and whatnot, ie animal "shrinks" so to speak, who can analyse behaviour and sugest ways of dealing with problems

We are going to leave her with the rescue centre for a few more weeks on her own then try her with maybe a young male there. Generally bondings with the same sex don't work as there is more chance of territoral issues. The rescue centre owner knows quite a bit about rabbits so we will just have to see what happens. We haven't heard from her since Nia has gone to the vets, which was this morning so i don't know whether they have found anything wrong with her or not.
