whether this has been said already but couldn't you give newbies like a starter package, if they apply for one, which would include something like a guide thing (in PM) that covers the whole game and an animal and a few $$$, just to start them off.

There are guides being written up, and we are donating an animal to the new player. Eventually they will all be up on a website. I am currently trying to get permission from Nef to publicly display the page. But for right now we are in the "under construction" stage.
