How to make a layout!

Step 1
-Making a banner
You can search the artwork forum for banner makers

Here are some good ones:
Adobe Photo Deluxe

If you have any others please post below or PM me!
1. Open up you graphics program.
2. Choose a picture [use from a royalty free site or get permission from the photographer, but some people say if you change the art completely it becomes your own anyway!]
3. Tint/Hue the picture. Do you want it to feel warm? Tint orange, or pink. Do you want it to feel cold? Tint cyan, blue or green.
4. Sharpen, Blur, or pixelate. Sharpen for a clear effect, blur for an 'in motion' pic and pixelate if you want it to fuzzy.
5. Some programs you can make them partly translucent[lets some light through] which makes it stand out.
6. Cut it out using an eraser. Some programs you have an 'change background' option in which case you rubout the background and then selct the image...
7. Add a background to match the picture. A sharp background for a sharp picture. A blurry background for a blurry picture.
8. Add little 'extras'. Using the paint icon you can repaint some of the details and add hearts and such-like.
9. Add the text. Choose the colour to contrast to the background, and make the font readable. An 'outline' option works well.
10. Add your signature! No stealie! It can just say '(c) blah de blah de blah' or it can be a squiggle!
11. Convert to JPG
12. Upload in

13. Choose the for websites option! And add the html to the layout, it is the one with <href> in front of it.
