When I was a kid, I was an only child, till I was like 12 years old. by this time I was spoiled rotten, in as much as I was used to having all moms attention, and getitng my own way. Then she has a baby, and suddenly I get less attention, and worse, as he grows up, he is ALWAYS into my things, following me round etc. And still getitng the attention..
He couldn't pronounce my name, it was too big, so he called me by the only part he could pronounce.. the fer at the end, coming out sounding like fur..
i'd get home from school, and he'd be all excited FUR FUR FUR! and I'd have the entir bus laughing at me.. including the driver
Being as I have social anxiety, and can't stand having the attention of more then one or two people at once, this was a lot worse for me then it maybe could have been otherwise. I quickly grew to hate my brother.
He died when I was 13 years old. He was only 19 months old. Now, I would give anything, to be able to put up with the headaches, the broken things, and the embarrassment he brought.
I never told my baby brother I loved him, I never gave him a kiss. I did my best to avoid him at all costs. Now I rgret it.
My sister hs some annoying things too, both of them, as well my son. I won't post them as they do play, I wouldn't want to cause them to quit heh
But I put up with the embarrassing things, and do my best to deal with the annoying, and invest in a LOT of pain pills for headaches.. and do my best to make sure they know, that despite how annoying, irritating, agravating, and just plain maddening they are, I love them and would do near anything for them. |
Awww -huggles and gives a billion cookies- I'm so sorry, Mercy. |
