wickedrodent...by any chance are you a fan of charmed??
lol...just asking because of your charmed themed dogs.

i have 4 dogs,5 cats,1 guinea pig,1 budgie, fish, and an assortment of chickens, which are sort of like pets,as i have bantams, only because i like hatching the baby chicks.lol.

piper, one of the 5 cats is my baby.all the others are more family pets, but piper is my baby.someone abandoned her outside as a kitten and she showed up one day at my door.she was all bones and was all cut up on the face. she was 8 months old, but her growth had been so stunted by starvation and the cold(it was winter) she was only the size of a small kitten, and we thought she was until she went into heat(even the vet on first glance thought so)she is six now, and the vext at her most recent appointment thought she was about 3-4 month old kitten.she was suprised when i told her the truth. i will write about my other furbabies later, but for now, a picture of piper.well a couple

piper, aka saucer eyes(i think she never grew into them):

piper being silly:

just as a size refrence(keeping in mind, i am a girl, only about 5'4 at the most, and my hands are tiny, only about the size of a 10 year old boys):

haha, i rant.

Yes! I am a Charmed fanatic!! Very Happy

Leo and Coles names work out perfect because leo is the nice one, and we call cole the demon dog.. lol

Piper is a cutie! She is a tiny cat! (well after seeing most of the cats here that are 10-15lbs.. lol)

I would love to see a pic of your guinea pig! I love piggies.. I actually have my cage set up and ready for them.. Im just waiting for my mom to say that I can adopt them.. hehe

Have you ever seen this site: www.guineapigcages.com ? They are great.. my cage is a C&C cage (which is very inexpensive, and fun to make)

Here a pic of my guinea pig cage:

hahaha, as you probably noticed, piper is named after charmed, originally i named her pheobe, because she was the youngest like m.but i liked piper better, and it sounded right, so her name is piper pheobe.

i started out with two guineas, sisters, but one died.they where jemma and midnight. jemma died Sad. midnight is very elderly for a guinea, which makes me sad.she lives in a large rabbit cage. something to keep in mind with keeping them, they smell.soooo bad.plan on cleaning the cage every 3 or so days.lol.cage is very fancy compared to mine.lol.

Yeah, the reason she prob. doesn't smell very good is the size of your cage. Believe it or not, the larger the cage, the less the smell.. I had piggies in the past.. and its 100% true..

www.guineapigcages.com tells how to make the C&C cages (like mine) They are very inexpensive and fun to make! Very Happy Im sure your piggie would love it

How old is she?

nah, she had a very large rabbit cage, when she lived with her sister.now that she is older and alone(thus less active) she has been downsized. she is seven i beleive, which is up there in years for a guinea.
i think the reason she has been smelly is because about 65+ precent of her diet is fresh foods.

I think you should get her checked out - I'm so sorry if it is cancerous.

yeah, shes not in any real obvious pain, so i cant see a real reason to take her to the vet.they will only want to put her to sleep, or test to see if it is cancerous(expensive biopsy).sad, but ill just keep busy making sure she is comfortable if the tumour does start to affect her.

I've realised that lots of people on this game don't take their pets to the vets often (not aiming this on you aj).

Whenever there might be something slightly wrong we always immediatly take them. Well, we managed to save one of my rabbits before by doing that - it was a 24 hour thing, if we had waited 'till even the next day she would of been dead.

But at least they can tell you if it's a sist or something not to worry about. I understand why you may not want to take her though.
