i have 2 and i love them!!
they are Agustus and Geribaldi i think they are brothers im not sure i bought them at the pet store and i dont know how old they are. but Agustus has a shorter tail than Geribaldi... thats the way i tell them appart lol
this one is Agustus
and this one is Geribaldi
I have pics of them both together but i cant find my cord to down load them =0([/img] |

| I have one. His name is Flint. No idea how old he is, but I've had him for about a year. He's all black, and much too fat for his own good lol |

I don't have gerbils, but I do keep fancy mice - and will be getting a breeding trio of "Natal Rats" tomorrow. They're an African species that's something between the size of a rat and a mouse, and they have HUGE buggy eyes.
That said, I only really genuinely LIKE two of my mice - a female Chocolate Tan named Reprieve and a little Black Tan Satin male named Pockets. The others are cute and all, but not very friendly - and they aren't really pets either. |

Don't know yet - I'm picking up my trio from a guy who breeds them mostly for reptile food. They'll probably be agouti, agouti pied, cinnamon or cinnamon pied. |

I've got my Natals now - a pair of agouti pied girls and an argente pied boy - pink-eyed beige.
Not as nippy as I thought they might be either - though they're certainly not as 'tame' as my fancy mice. |

I'm thinking "Spooky" and "Brave" for the girls, and ... uhhh... "Boy".
And that's just because "Boy" is better than "Giant bulging red eyeballs" as a name.
I don't name all of my mice because not all of them stay for very long - but the 'residents' who are my best breeders do get named. |
