Does anyone else play the sims? I love it! I don't play very often anymore, because I dont have time, But I have both the sims 2 and 3 for the PC and a few Playstation games as well.

I am VERY into Ghost children... I once tried to get my whole town to be ghosts! xD

Thats awesome Trent! How do they become ghosts? Ive had a couple people die, but they never became ghosts.

I only know how on Sims 3.

Deaths/Color

Starvation/Purple
Fire/Orange
Drown/Water
Electrocuted/Yellow

I dont wanna try to get White ghosts... you'll see why I think its icky.

NOTE: Sometimes the baby is human

Way 1: Easy, but long

Step 1: Kill a SIM
Step 2: Wait for an 'Opportunity' at the Science place involving bringing the dead to life. Then bring the remains of the deceased (gravestone) to the lab. Bring back from dead.
Step 3: Have SIM woohoo.

Way 2: Hard, but faster
- the dead sim has to be a boy
-Sometimes you have to wait a few 'days' b/c the dead guy is in too bad of a mood to woohoo xD
(epilogue: its best to have victim already in love with the girl)
Step 1: Kill SIM
Step 2: Wait for the guy to come out of his grave as a ghost the second night after his death (each ghost has about a 7hr timezone where they come out. Figure out the time each night they come out, and life will be much easier)
Step 3: Have SIMs woohoo


Voila. Now you have a ghost baby. They can 'Scare' people, and grow up normally. They just ghosts hehehe

How To Kill Your SIM:

Electrocution: Have a SIM pee a few times around an electronic (dishwasher works) until the electronic is completely surrounded by the pee ( having your SIM pee a few times, and then move the object into the puddle works best). When the object breaks, instead of calling a repair man, have your Victim SIM try to fix it. The first time electrocuted, he will be fine. The second, he dies. Becomes a yellow ghost with sparks flickering about.

Drowning: Have a SIM go swimming. Then build a wall around the pool so he can't get out. Hit Ctrl+shift+c, and then input: testingCheatsEnabled True and then you can control the green bars of health and such. Drag down energy to give a quick death. Gives a dripping wet blue ghost.

Fire: This is extremely hard. Build a separate room away from the house. Fill with fireplaces that aren't safe (cheaper ones) and fill the room with rugs. The rugs will eventually catch. Make sure you have deleted the door so there is no way out. Creates smoking orange ghost.

Starvation: Easiest. Use testingCheatsEnabled True and drag down the hunger bar to 0. Turns into a purple ghost that invades your house for food.

Make sure that you find the gravestone the GrimReaper leaves, that is where your SIM will appear first every night. Honestly, I usually put the gravestone in a room with a bed and lock him in with the girl

Thanks! And one of my sims just died from fire. lol. Dummy walked into the fire he set making waffles. But, he was the only one living in the house.

Usually I make a household of 2 girls and 3 boys, and then kill off the boys xD Its cruel, but i really want a ghost town!

Lately I've been considering buying a Sims game for my Mac. I was thinking about going for the Sims Complete Collection, but I'm not sure yet. If you have any advice on which to choose I'd be grateful.

Ive only ever played sims 2 and 3. There are meny differences between the two. You can customize everything way more in 3, but 2 is alot less confusing. I personally prefer 3.

There are better cheats for SIMS 3.


Ctrl+Shift+C and you get this blue bar at the top of hte screen, and you enter cheats there.


motherlode = 50,000 simoleans ($)
testinCheatsEnabled True = control their health bars, which is useful for speedy recoveries and forcing them to wet their pants xD

I've decided to not get the complete collection; too expensive, and I don't really need all the extras anyway.

I actually think the cheats for 2 are better. On 2 you can speed up pregnancy, make anybody pregnant by anybody else. You can even make a man pregnant by another man. lol. And you can have sims eaten alive by flies.

I play sims 2. I have the pets one and many more, I only need Celebration stuff and the Holiday one to have a complete set! I played sims 3 at my friends, you can completly change furnatures coulour! OMG it's soooo cool!
