"I promise to every person I invite on my trail rides that they will have safety," Skyler said, softly emphasizing certain words... She nudged Brian left, leading them into a field. She often checked this field for groundhog holes, so she knew this field was safe. She urged Brian into a gallop. "Yeeeeeeehaw!" she exclaimed.

Frequency took off after Brian. Sadly, Frequency wasn't as fast as Firefly, but he was better then riding a pony. Summer sat up into two point and laughed as the wind streamed into her face. She nudged him to go faster, trying to see if she could pass Brian. I should have just brought Firefly or Aristocrat, she thought regretfully.

Courtney continued to stay next to Trevor. "Maybe we should stay back here and...ditch," she said in a flirty way, trying to cut Trevor's horse off a bit so his horse wouldn't speed ahead. They were already starting to fall behind...

Skyler saw Frequency approaching. She wished she brought Zephyrus now! She laughed, and turned Brian, circling the field.

Summer cut the corners of the field, and was now in front of Brian. "Ha ha!" Summer declared, trying to keep her already-sweating horse going.

[Bratterratt]

Trevor shot Courtney and uninterested look. "I came to ride with the group," -he said simply, then using his calves, moved Indian into a gallop after the others. The gelding easily took the cue and went from a walk to a gallop easily. Indian, a cutting horse, reached the edge of the field, then turned a 90 degree easily, at full speed...

Emphasis was eager to gallop, but James kept him at a lope. A large fallen tree lay in one corner of the meadow, and James pushed his horse towards it. Growing closer, he allowed Emphasis to reach a gallop, and coming upon the obstacle, boy and rider soared through the air. Emphasis landed perfectly, and James grinned with a personal victory...

"Nice jump," Summer called to James in a friendly way. When she turned to say it to James, her hair started to whip into her face so she could barely see it. When she turned back ahead to look in between the ears of her horse, there was a tree branch coming for her face. She quickly ducked under the branch, leaning low under Frequency's neck.
Courtney growled to herself in "distress". She kicked Whirlwind angrily into a gallop after Trevor, feeling the sting of rejection.

[Bratterratt]

"Thanks," -James called, still on an equine-high, pulling Emphasis to a controlled trot. "Where to next?" -he asked, half halting his eager chestnut gelding...

Trevor, off in a corner of the meadow, began to pull Indian through a skilled stream of serpentines and western figures, hoping to loosen the paint's muscles...

Jake and Zing walk down the road, "Don't worry boy I think I see the school up ahead..." Jake whispers into Zing's ear as he hops on him and they take off at a full gallop toward the school.

Skyler thought for a moment. "This way," she said, trotting off into the trees.

Angela saw a new kid [Jake] walking up to the campus. She decided to go greet him. "Hi!" she called while waving.

"Where does 'this way' lead to?" Summer asked, keeping Frequency at a posting trot after Skyler. She was unfamiliar with this path...

Trevor pulled Indian in a western half stop, then turned him after the other riders, trotting easily to them. The paint gelding's ears perked at the trail ahead, eager, yet not exceptionally energetic, as he had the laid-back quarter horse feel...

James did the same, and Emphasis eagerly followed. It was all the boy could do to keep the excited chestnut gelding from bolting ahead of the group...

"Someones excited," Summer joked to Trevor, since Indian was high strung at the moment.
