| is it just me, or do random topics seem to be disappearing without any explanation? the first one i noticed was my topic on the games forum, the word game. i went on there one day and it was just gone. i looked on both pages, and even asked Vitani if she noticed. now it looks like (unless i'm missing something) that the random lyrics topic has disappeared too. what is going on? i could understand if it got deleted because of not being replied to in a long time, or if something on it was offensive, but neither of them fit in those catergories. has anyone else noticed some missing topics? |

Yup, I notice it too...
My topics in particular seem to poof lol!
I think the mods go through and anything that hasn't been recently posted in, they delete to clean the forums up at bit.
That or the aliens....

Ops don't delete them.
There does seem to be something funky going on with the forums, but the posts are still there, just somehow shuffled further back. Have you tried searching for the forum topics, or topics that you've posted in. There were a couple topics asked about in the help section, I found the random lyrics one quickly through search, and found a three word story thread, but wasn't sure if that was the one you were looking for.

| I should clarify.. Ops don't delete topics, but there are some sections of the forum that have an "automatic" prune after a set amount of time, like Games is supposed to prune after 10 days of no activity on a thread. |

well obviously that isn't working! the oldest one hasn't been posted on since may 31st!  i guess i will just have to make a new word game thread. but really i don't think it had been 10 days since someone posted on it. strange.... thanks for your help! |
