I pronounce it like beta. I think most people do, because the two words seem so similar. But I don't know, maybe people say it different depending on where you are.

I pronounce it the first way you demonstrated. Through it seems like some people I know prefer to use the third way you said. I agree with Fire, its probably different based on where you are.

Ya i use both XD it depends really, then again i am also dislexic{sp} lol, but im norall good at spelling, just suck in math =), and i like the first one, Be-tah i say it like that the mose.

i think beh-tah sounds silly, just because some people say 'better' like beh-tah (by dropping the 'r').

I think it also involves where you live and how people pronounce letters.
