Well he'll get better my step mom had her Appendix adn Gall Bladder removed, and actually the Gall bladder is apart of the Endocrine system i belive, and it aids in breaking down foods like red meat, in the liver Smile

I am glad that he is going to be ok, I had my gall bladder removed back in 99, I was having a lot of pain in the middle of my chest, it felt like someone poking me with needles. I haven't had any problems without it either. I'm sure it is something we need but is possible to live without.

The gallbladder actually stores bile then releases it into the small intestine to help with the digestion of fats in the duodenum (first part of the small intestine).

Yes, I know, im a nerd for knowing that. lol.

I guess like a kidney....You do need it, but if its not there (well, with kidneys, if ones not there) you can cope fine without it...

I'll be happier once he's home on Monday, and I can take care of him.

He came home last night!

His stomach is all black and blue with bruising...And he's pretty dopey from the pain killers so he is mostly sleeping...

But he's home, and he's ok....I'm so happy Very Happy


I really appreciate everyones kind thoughts and prayers....It really helped me cope Smile

OMG yes >.< We were frantic that first day...Nobody knew anything and it was so hard, the hours just dragged by...Awful stuff Sad


He can't lift anything for a month, and isin't supposed to even bend for a couple of weeks...Yeesh.
