Lol, Wolfie gave me the idea. We all love books, right? Well this is the place to talk about them. Name your favorites or even your least favorites. I'm such a bookworm I run out of material like THAT, so maybe we can all share some recommendations!

I'm currently reading through the Age of Fire series, and I have to say it is awesome! It's the exact series I've been pining for for years. A realistic, no-nonsense fiction series about dragons. There's no magic or anything weird like that, and the author let dragons remain very beast-like still, not completely humanized. I luff it. Though as a fair warning to those of you who may want to try it, some parts are a bit violent, although they are easy enough to skim over.

And for my list of other favorites...

-Firebringer, by David Clement-Davies.
-Warriors series, by Erin Hunter.
-The Lost Books series, by Ted Dekker.
-The Inheritance Cycle, by Christopher Paolini.
-Dragons in Our Midst series, by Bryan Davis.
-Watership Down, by Richard Adams.

I'm sure there are other good ones, but these are the ones that I can come up with.

Currently i am reading Midnight-Erin Hunter in her second series. and my least favorite i have to say is Uglies, i am sorry to all you Uglies fans but i just could not get into it, the thought of people that live with technology like that and get surgery to be pretty adn liked annoys me. I mean i dont wanna rant. also the book Freak the Mighty, i forgot the auther, Is a REALLY good sad story.

I'd have to say that my favorite books are the ones by Scott Westerfeld! His books that I have read are the Uglies series, Levithean, and Mt FAVORITES The Midnighters Series!

I also have always really liked The Julie Of The Wolves books.

Another would have to be just about any books by the author Sharon Creech who wrote Walk Two Moons, Ruby Holler, and there is one other I can't think of that I loved.

I don't think I've read any of those books; I might have to check them out.

Julie of the Wolves I have read, a while ago. They were okay, not my favorite though because I thought it unrealistic (one of my peeves, lol).

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd like to add White Fang and Call of the Wild by Jack London. They are amazing books, something like what I'd like to write. Has anyone else read them?

I love the Earth's Children series (Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of Horses, etc) by Jean Auel. The books follow the life of one women during prehistoric times. Don't let that fool you nor the "B" movie of the first book starring Darryl Hannah, neither does the books justice.

Other favorites include:

The Avalon series by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Stories of the priestesses inhabiting Britain before, during and after Roman rule, including the female perspective of King Arthur.

Most of the books by Colleen McCullough are excellent, especially the ones concerning the famous and infamous people during Rome's age of might and the beginnings of New Zealand. Thornbirds is probably one some have heard of since it was made into a TV movie series in the 80's, I believe.

I also like James A. Michener's books concerning various areas of the globe and how they came to be "civilized" They portray the lives of people in the areas, during different times. Caribbean is the last one I've read, but he covers just about every part of the globe.

These are some of the ones that have merited hardcover copies in my bookcase because I reread them so much.

I've never heard of those books, Alabama. They do sound interesting, but I'm afraid I don't think I would like them. You'll notice that the greater majority of my list consists of books from an animal's point of view. Humans bore me.

ya they have it actually at my school library adn i looked at it and read hte back, i also browse youtube evrey know and then for wolf related video's and lots of people have made mini movies of it.

My favorites are To kill a Mockingbird, The Host by Stephenie Meyer, Cut by patricia mccormick, Go ask alice, and crank by ellen hopkins.
