I hate the style and the author.
It was a good idea, but someone like Rick Riordan should have written it.
The books are horrible, the actors have no talent, but I love it.

Yea,
I really hate Twilight Because:
#1. I can feel my brain cells dying when I read it
#2. Vampires don't Sparkle
#3. Bella is a total idiot and will NEVER go to collage. EVER.
#4. The author is weird.
#5. The guy that plays Edward is a nasty, greasy hair, slob
#6. VAMPIRES ARE NOT SCARY WHEN THEIR NAME IS EDWARD. I mean who is afraid of a vampire named Edward??? OMG! Edward is going to suck my blood!!! Ah! WHO CARES?
#7. Edward saves Bella fifty million times... BORRING!!!
I am a Twilight Hater and I am Proud of It! |

Sorry, posts like these kinda make me laugh. I find it hard to "hate" or be "anti" something that is of no real consequence. When people hate, all they do is fuel the fire in the opposite direction.
The books were predictable, but then so are millions of others that aren't "hated". Vampires, since they are fictional in and of themselves, can be whatever someone imagines them to be. It'd be like saying Dragons can't glow in the dark. Or unicorn horns must be made of gold.
Yes, I read the first two books and by the third, could tell my daughter what was going to happen before she read it. But that doesn't inspire hatred in me, so perhaps what you hate is the strong positive reactions others have for the books?
Certainly, if you are not an avid stamp collector, you don't hate the person who creates the stamp, do you? Even though a person may be head over heels Gerard Butler, and you have no clue why they are, you don't hate the producer of P.S. I Love You.
Personally, I'm not into comedy movies, just don't understand them, find them predictable and not worth the time and effort to see them. That doesn't mean I "hate" them or can't stand to hear someone raving about Jim Carey.
So why all this strong antagonistic feeling about these books and this author, or is it perhaps that they are more convenient to find fault with than the thousands of fans? |

I have never read the books, and have never watched the movies, and frankly I never will. I don't see the appeal.
However, I would like to say that name-calling and such is not the best thing to do. You wouldn't like someone saying that stuff about your work, would you?
That's all. |

I loved the books when they first came out. But by the time the movies came out along with the action figures calenders bookmarks movie guides chess sets puzzles and board games came out. I couldnt stand it. All that stuff ruined it for me. |

Yea I know what you guys are talkig about and all, BUT you have never been to my school. EVERYONE loves it! I've read all the books though and hated everyone of them. They are too predictable, have way too much fictionalism, and in my opioion have NO appeal and/or plot.
P.S. I have absolutly no clue what the heck this word means...antagonistic
No I would not like people saying that about my work, but frankly I don't care what other people think of my work. I live by if I like it it is good enough, ignore the others, as long as you like it it is good enough. [That also may be the reasons I get alot of bad language art grades on essays and such ...] [I also live by Hakuna-Matta(Or however you spell it) and If it ain't broke don't fix it but, hey that's another story .] |

I'm not anti, I'm not pro...
Haven't read the books yet but do own them...
Have so far enjoyed the first 2 movies for what they are....A good way to kill a couple hours.
Like everything there are bits I like, bits I don't, on the whole I find it enjoyable....
But I must admit, I do kinda pine for the "why yes, I DO eat people" vamp days.....True Blood does something towards correcting the sparkly lovey-doveyness of Twilight.
Yin and Yang....I'm happy |

I haven't read the books or seen the movies and i'm not planning to. I love vampires but Twilight does not seem like the kind of vamp story I like... I like Anne Rice's books and Buffy... |

By anti do you mean you start online petitions to "stop" Twilight, or you just don't like it. I really hope you aren't the petition kind of anti, those people are annoying. I havn't read the books and only watched the first movie, and I really have no opinion on the move. |
