How do i make buildings or get a cat bed??

I have only just got on here and i have 2 dogs and 2 cats but i cant seem to get a cat bed or dog kennel... HELP me plz

Click "My Farm" (side bar)

then click on the dirt patch picture under 'cat bed' and there should be a purchase icon somewhere.
