I've been putting off examining my animals since a lot are going to retire. Some I'm hoping to get one more baby from.
Should I just hit the button and try to replace them as I get money for tokens and as they go up for sale?
Or
Should I wait until I get all the studs/females needed and hope for the best after I hit the button?
What's your opinion?

I say just hit the button and clean up the damage afterward. |

Just hit it. I came back after nearly 3 years not very long ago and hitting 'examine' meant saying goodbye to most of my amazing collection of animals, but it was better afterwards.
Makes it fun/challenging again to work your way back. |

I pressed the button and now I'm going through babies. Now I'm having fun going 'Where did THAT color come from?' on babies whose parents both had overpopulated in color and the baby ended up with an endangered color or endangered parents with the same color and the color came up endangered but a different color.

ah!
I would have offered you to send the pregnant animals to my farm, and I could turn them, and save you the animals you havent replaced. Then you could have just bid, and the animals wouldnt have retired. |

I do my best to get through 'em and breed for replacements - then take a deeeeep breath and push the button. The longest I've been away was almost a year. It was painful, but I've about got over it - LOL. Six months later... and learned some valuable lessons. |
