First off, I'm really glad you've decided to return!
And second, there have been some changes. Namely the introduction of roleplay to the game board, which you've probably noticed. Recently there has been some minor argument over the "literacy" of these roleplays; so far that seems to have been resolved without a problem.
Also, a while ago there was discussion over the animal market and so on. People of the EBA and those who had similar beliefs (limited animals on market, those on market with high prices, breeding restrictions, ect.) had some conflict with a group of people (me included) who felt that there should be a multitude of animals available on the market, at relatively low prices, with few restrictions, that new players and even old players could use to further their farms. As a result of this discussion, a new club was formed, the Sandbox Breeders' Cooperative, which promotes the availability of animals on the market.
And that pretty much sums it up! |

I don't think the two are/should be in conflict with each other. The EBA is about protecting the rarity of player created animals and honoring contracts from those players and SBC is about providing low priced animals and a variety of animals, not necessarily on the AE/End side of things, for new players who can't afford the AE/End animals owned by other players in the game who want to keep their animal numbers low. |
