Well, I'm going to try to, anyway!
I think I last played about 2 years ago? Long time. Thought I'd give it another go and see whether I get into it again.

Of course, most of my animals are well past retirement. I'm just about to hit 'examine' and they will all be gone Sad Including all my end/ends and lovely welsh cobs, which I introduced to the game.
Very sad but they're not doing much good sitting there.

Anyway, I have my cash, but I'll pretty much be starting from scratch again :/ and from the looks of it inflation has gone mad and my supplies won't get me very far!

Just curious though, I have some tokens left - do people still acution them? And if they do does anyone have a rough idea of what they go for?

Anyway. Yeah. I'm back, for a little bit at least! Whoo!

Hiya Kyani! I most likely am very new to you here, I joined like two years after you. Very Happy Oh, tokens are going yuppers, but I think, I think are going what, 5-7 mill a piece these days, and I can breed you a Welsh Cob, I got a few. And if you need anything, I'd also be willing to help with that, lol! Welcome back! Very Happy

Thanks guys! I definitely remember your name KaylaBlue, although I may be thinking of KaylaBlueHorse from FiSH...?

I think I've found my way back in.

5-7million PER TOKEN? You're kidding me right? I suppose looking at the prices of animals here now it's not too ridiculous, but wow.
So, for 83 tokens, I can expect a lot, right? I may put them up for auction in batches.

Also, I've been checking out the forums and the marketplace (I want a cheap specimin of each species to bring my prestige back up) and where oh WHERE have all the newbies gone?

There's like...nothing going on in the lower levels of the game, no low-rarity animals being produced via rescue or breeding. Endangered variations seem to be more abundant than common ones? That can't be right?

Methinks we need to draft in some newbies?

Hiya Smile
I'm on between 5-10 times a day Wink A regular, haha.
You can take a peak at my ranch as well, though I probably have the exact same animals as most others posted above ^^

Yes, sadly this is most an AE/END game now.. I don't mind getting my hands on something exotic like a extremly rare corn snake and such, (those are always cool to have!)

Buttt, as well as know, the money is definetly in the Ends and AE's.. And yes, tokens have also skyrocketed!! I think 6 mill a token is a norm aroound here, if you'd like to get your prestige up I'd be more than happy to lease(contact) a few AE and double ends to you Smile

newbies?

Im basically the newest one here, but I already have 2 End creations (bettas) and two AE creations (doggies), I helped make another AE breed (Wolf, gave FiREBiRD 2,000 tokens), and i plan on... 4 more AE creations (dogs).

Hehe, I'm bragging

Marble (End) Double Tailed (End) Betta

Brindle and White (AE) French Bulldog (AE) Dog.

Next:

Fawnequin (AE) Double Nosed Andrean Tiger Hound (AE) Dog with Enhanced Smell (AE) and A Heart Patch on Rump (AE)

^
ULTIMATE animal. All AE. Coming soon. 83 tokens would really help Wink

Welcome Back! Very Happy

I can help you with a few big Cats, Horses, Bettas, and Dogs =]
If you need any replacements for dogs, even if i dont personally own the breed, i can definately help you for free by using my Frenchies =]

Thanks for all the offers, guys!

I just typed a huge long post and lost it! D'oh!
Let's try again:

Anyway, if anyone wants to make me an offer on those tokens, feel free! Lemme tell you, if anyone offers as much as 10million per token they can take them right now, no questions!
I would like, at some point, to introduce welsh Cs and Bs into the game, but can't justify sinking real money in right now, so I will work my way back up. I may eventually just make them a lower rarity, since the mid-ones are lacking anyway and I really just want to complete the set.

If it is an end/AE game now, no wonder there is so much upset over the breeding and over-distribution of high rarity variations! The reason they are SO overpopulated is because there are a) no newbies so everyone can afford them, b) a shortage of low-level animals to balance it out. 40 wouldn't be such an overpopulation of an end. variation if there were 10000 other animals in that species with low rarity variations knocking around, afterall.

Back when I played before, you could go onto the marketplace and find pages of results for every species, of every rarity value! Each species had its own breeders and followers, even 'boring' thinks like mice had tons of varity and activity going on. It was a dynamic introduced by a constant turnover of new players, rescuing and breeding to progress in the game, a dynamic that MADE the high-rarity variations valuable by comparing them with an abundance of cheap lower ones and made it exciting and meaningful to have the higher level buildings and the animals that go with them. I think that dynamic is missing now and it makes many parts of the game unmeaningful.

I know I might get flamed for saying it and many won't like it, but I think the game needs WAY more newbies. Even if they only stay for a while, as long as they keep coming. Yes, I admit, it would be annoying in some ways, such as silly names for animals filled with hearts and strings of numbers and twilight references (to totally stereotype) and some people might not want a bunch of 'noobs' on the forums, but 'noobs' are what keeps games working as they were designed to.
Might upset a lot of people to think of it that way, of course, as they've grown too fond of their small community.

More than anything else, I think the game needs casual players, or kids. People playing for fun, who can't or won't sink real money into the game so have fun by playing a free game (one of the few totally free ones where you're not locked out of key features by not having a 'premium' subscription) and working through the levels.
There would still be an important place for the EBC and the like because there would still be possibility for someone to price a whole end. or AE variation waaay too low or give one charitably to a newbiw with no conditions and end up with that being bred non-stop by a newbie who needs to make money - and the blame wouldn't be on the newbie.

Of course for that to happen, the game would need a whole lot of advertising to attract new players, and that would be difficult without Nef's attention, which I understand is difficult for her to give right now.

I was thinking...

Yanno what would add an extra layer of difficulty and challenge, even for the seaosned players?

Purebred value.

I used to play VHR, and purebred or foundie-bred status of a horse there makes its value skyrocket (or it did a few years ago lol). Of course, it's a LOT more difficult to get one of these animals that also has a rare colour, or is high-statted, because you can't use other animals to breed in those traits - see where the challenge lies?

It'd also be something a lot harder for someone to over-produce, as they couldn't just get hold of one stud, or one animal and mass-produce by breeding to anything, but would have to have access to at least 2 high-value animals.

Also, due to in-breeding limits, unless many foundie pairs are bought in the first place., the more generations this purity is maintained for, the more rare and challenging it would be to get hold of, if you see what I mean. I'm not too hot on the exact limits for in-breeding, but to have a 3rd generation foundie-bred welsh cob, at least 4 foundie pairs would need to be bought. It wouldn't just require a presence of the endangered variation, but of FOUNDIES with that variation, as well as adding an extra bit of realism to the game by making pedigrees matter more.

It's something that would give more value back to the variations and foundie pairs people spend their own money on.

I got the idea from trying to get my welshies back, and thinking how nice it'd be to have a horse descended only from my original foundies I paid for, but I don't think they exist any more.

I know you can't force value on something; it's supply and demand. But maybe if the idea is thrown out there people might start to think 'hey, that WOULD be more special - I'd pay a bit more for that'.

Disclaimer: been away for the game for a long time so I don't know if something like this DOES exist, but I haven't seen any sign of it in my explorations.

I believe I am too, Choco! Wink

I think the purebred thing would be nice.

in all games I play, purebred is top, especially with higher rarity.

I think I might try this sometime, as soon as I pick a good animal pair to start with!
