Well... I have a fascination for paranormal activities or ghosts sightings, reports, etc... And I wonder if you were believing or not and such, okay I was curious. Anyway, I myself have never had a real ghost experience, but I keep up to date. So, have any of you had a paranormal activity or a ghost experience personally or no someone who has? Do you have a traumatic fear? Do you believe or not believe? |

I don't know that I have a fascination for them - as it was always considered rather normal around our house to have seen one.
When my great grandmother died, my mother and her sisters were all in her house for the funeral. That morning, my Aunt Sammie got up late and as she was coming down the stairs to breakfast, passed my great grandmother and said "good morning". My mother was passing downstairs and looked up and she and my aunt both saw Great Grandmother on the stairs. Yes, we joke that Great Grandmother came to her own funeral to see who showed up.
For myself - hubby and I lived in a little old house. Shortly after we moved in I caught the reflection of someone in a mirror I had in the living room. Thinking it was hubby, I turned and no one was there. Over the four years or so we lived in the house both of us several times thought we saw someone passing through a room, or a reflection, who wasn't there when we looked harder. So we started talking to the ghost. One day I was in a terrible rush and couldn't find my car keys although I had looked and looked. I stopped, stood in the middle of the living room and closed my eyes and said "Ghost, if you know where my keys are - can you show me?" and I heard them fall on the floor in the other room. When we finally got ready to move out, I was talking to a friend on the phone about it and some folding tables I had leaned against the wall fell down with a terrible racket right in front of me - no reason at all. It was so loud my gf heard it over the phone and asked what it was and I said, "I think the ghost is mad that we're leaving" - about the time other things started slamming on the floor in the next room and upstairs.
We also moved into a house where the man who owned it before had been murdered - on Halloween no less. He had been gone about a year and we moved in to clean the house and live there for free because no family had come forward for any of his things. It was so sad - we found picture albums of his kids where he had kept news stories about their football games, and some church awards his wife had been given. Hubby and I both ended up on the front porch with something in our hands just in tears at one point. From the first time I went through the door I spoke very respectfully to the man's ghost - just in case he was there. I think he must have been, and appreciated our respect. But he must not have liked cats. We had fifteen or so at the time and now and then they would all just explode and go racing around the house in white eyed fear. I'd say, "Please don't chase the cats." and it would stop. Much later we found two cat skeletons in the attic. Right before we moved out - two of our cats, young healthy cats, mysteriously died in our last few days there. But I had a dream where the two "attic cats" were wearing angel wings and taking one of our cats up with them and they said they were taking her because she had so many problems and fears (she was a bit mental) and it was a relief for her, so I shouldn't be upset. The first cat that died was her great friend, Bart. He got the sniffles and then was gone in just three days. She was not far behind.
Yes, I have more but the others were not so benign and I don't like to talk about them.
Oh - and one old woman only showed up once at a house we had in Nebraska. When we moved in it was owned by an old woman in a nursing home, and managed by a friend of hers, so we never met her. After she died, we continued to rent it while they figured out the estate. That Halloween we had a party and I was reading tarot cards for someone else when I "blacked out". When I "came to" everyone in the room was giving me the owly eyes. This old woman had just jumped through me, into me, something and threw the tarot cards across the room and screamed "Get out, Get out of MY house!" and otherwise let it be known she considered my little group of Pagans to be a bunch of devil worshippers or something. Scared the shit out of my hubby and friends. Scared the shit out of me when they told me - LOL. I've never been a medium or anything and it has never happened before or since. So that one is mostly surprising and weird for us, rather than really scary.
I don't talk about the scary one. |

wow in my opinion thats really cool although i want to hear the scary one i wont press on and begconsidering i feel like people are watching me and i have a kind of '6th scense' as i will just randomly get a really bad feeling tehn twitch(i know weird) and after 3 twitches soemthing bad ALWAYS happens it never fails as once it was me adn my friend adn we were walking and i got 3 of those twitches adn i told my friend to come on we need to leave and she was questioning me and for some reason i fled i still dont know why i did but i ran donw to the lake and not even 10seconds later it sounded like a gunshot went off into the air right where we were adn i turned around ghost white to see my friend. She asked me why i fled adn then i explained to her the way i get and she understood as her family has 'dream futures' which is where you can kinda predict the future in your dreams. I sometimes get those evrey now adn then as one time i had a really weird dream that i was surrounded by people i didnt know at the time adn about 6 years later it came true adn i still remember all my friends in that same position.
A;so i have been told that a am a 'easer' which is someone who can calm someone down or not make them do something, take authority really as me adn about 2 others of my friends are paranormal people as in my best guy friend he can see adn hear ghosts and they taunt him, scratch him, it lasted 1 hour at teh least one time when we were all hanging outside adn it took 3people including me to hold him back from going to attack the ghost which was on teh other side of a really deep trench. Then one of my gf's she can communicate adn see ghosts as well as animal spirits but she cannot hear them. (i know i have a lot of wierd moments) |

Honestly, this is kind of weird for me to hear. My family, and practically everyone in our area is conservative, including me. I am highly suspicious of anything 'paranormal.' I don't think it's smart to believe everything you hear. So in short, no, I do not believe, and I'd caution everyone to keep your 'baloney detectors' on when listening to strange ideas. Some people will lie about such things just to get attention- not that I'm implicating that you guys are, of course. |

I believe whole heartedly. Not long ago, My brother in law and i were driving past a corn field by my house and were shoved off the road, there was no wind, nothing explainable as to why. |

Have I had 'paranormal' experiances? Yup...
Do I like them or seek them out? Not on your life...
I am, at heart, a great big chicken
Sometimes I think it draws it to me >.<
There are a few that, while I can't say liked or enjoyed, I found comfort in. The visitations of my Grandfather after his death, and after mine were scary, but at the same time comforting. He watches out for us...Which is a nice thing to know.
The visitation of a little cat owned by friends of mine was also comforting....He lived in a different country to me, yet there he was one day, on my window ledge, back arched and rubbing on the screen to say hi.....I found out not long after he'd been missing for a few weeks, and never was found. I still think that he was saying goodbye, wether he had actually passed on or not, knowing that I would never see him again, even if he was living.
Animals of ours that have passed drop in from time to time...Which is nice. I seem to be developing a knack for taking pictures with 'orbs'...Which are commonly believed to be spirits. I've taken some interesting pictures this year...
I like to keep an open mind to things...I enjoy psychics, clairvoyants, etc etc. I'm learning and developing my own skills in this area - Particularly with animal communication. It fascinates me |

I guess my point was I've only had one scary bad experience, balanced by more than one warm, comforting, friendly sort of experiences.
I really do not talk about it any more because...well you know that old belief "speak of the devil" would bring him into your life? The last time I shared the story - with a friend who is quite advanced and sensitive - she got up and backed away and told me to stop before I was finished. She said she could feel something in the room, listening and it was not something nice. So that's it for me. Some of you guys are pretty sensitive and I don't want to bring anything bad to anyone ever.
I am not much on Ouija boards. Like the tarot cards, they can open you to spirits and not all of them are benign. The ouija never should have been sold like it was a childs toy. It isn't. I'm going to think good thoughts that since there will be an experienced medium there, things will be okay. |

Yeah well her grandmother is like a Median in she is quite sensitive and like whenever she goes out in public phychics are drawn to her, i thought it was really cool. I like the Ouija board, for the fact that i have only seen about 1 or 2 Tarot cards adn i respect your concern for our saftey thanks. |

Ouija boards really are begging demons to consume you...
there was a story, my friend knew the family actually.
There was this little girl who somehow got a Ouija board. She became obsessed with it. When her mother found out she had it, she threw it out. But the little girl kept going in the trash to recover it. After trying a few times to get rid of it, the mother sent the girl to her friends house after school. The mother also invited a pastor to come, and when the girl was at a friends house, they threw it in the fireplace to burn it. Then the little girl, who was at her friends house down the road, started SCREAMING. she raced out of the friends house, ran down the street, ran into her own house, and jumped into the fire to recover the Ouija board. The parents had to restrain the little girl until the board finally burned to ashes.
You really are asking demons to come inside you when you 'play' the 'game'. and it is real demons, its not a toy. I am disappointed it was marketed that way, and that so many people 'play' it. |
