Correct me if I'm wrong about any of the following.
g(t) = 3t-2 is a function
3g^-1(t) is supposed to replace g(t) as an output, giving you:
3g^-1(t)=3t-2
which is still a function. In order to solve for t, you would need either an input or an output, neither of which is given. |

That depends on how you got your answer.
If you solved the problem, then yes, but in that case I'm guessing you wouldn't need help solving it.
If you got your answer from a book or somebody else, then it is possible that either they did it wrong or the person who wrote the problem made a mistake.
I'm guessing you didn't see anything wrong with my logic. |

It would help if you could tell me how you got your answer and check the problem again to make sure you copied EVERYTHING EXACTLY as it is supposed to be into your post. |

well i only know the answer due to the fact i go to school online. xD
when you submit the answers to an assessment, it tells you which are/aren't correct, and if they're incorrect, it shows you the correct answer.
as this is one of the few questions on my semester assessment that i got wrong, i kind of need to figure it out, as i need to scan all of my written work and send it to my teacher. ;c |

I'd like to help, but I stil don't see how it's possible to solve for t unless you copied it wrong or left something out. |
