Running Events

I have 8 events for people to enter, 4 beginner (50 mill and under earnings) and 4 advanced events(50 mill plus earnings, or animals the owner feel is capable of competing)

I run my events almost everyday(99% of the time they are set up at night) The entry fee is 1 mill, and the purse is 10 mill for the winner, 5 mil for second, and so on and so forth.

So for every rank lower, the prize if halved? I always wondered how that worked.
