Alright, that makes 12, so is the club's mission statement. Will change the first post to reflect that and will be added in game once club name decided and created. |

That's more what I was trying to say. 'Lower that Price' sounds, well, cheap. It sounds like somewhere between a bargain bin and begging for lower fees "because you should", and frankly I get enough of that at work.
Maybe I've misinterpreted what this club is trying to accomplish, but I never thought it was just to sell lots of animals for cheap. I thought the general aims were to
Have decent studs available for as many species as possible
Have species available on the open market for purchase, especially those more accessible to newbies (eg rodents, ant hill)
Have a number of rare and better species that are public, i.e. no or very little breeding restrictions on them. These may be sold at a lower price compared to other player-made creations, but not being thrown away. Nobody wants End/Ends on the market for 10k
To prevent stagnation of the game in a broader sense (eg keep a certain level of activity going between selling, buying and breeding).
Low prices is only a small part of that, and Low is such a subjective term- you can always get lower. Even if prices go down, the club would still be called 'Lower that price', and I don't think you can change it.
I'm not as articulate as I should be late at night, and I apologize. |
I am sorry, things have been getting to me lately, and life hasn't been real point.
I do see your point and totally agree with you, as that's what happens.
I suppose being called a l*****n every day hasn't been good on my moral
I am truly sorry again |

on AE variation is alot. tons of variations dont have AE variations yet. Bettas jsut got their first End color for example. i think we should hit the species that arent popular at all. looking through the marketplace, i see alot of species i never would have known about, form lack of population and form lack of variations. |

Just checkin in - started a new job today and I am exhausted. Great news on the mission statement. As far as cougars - or anything else - we are not looking to add AEs though, but varities up to rare that would be interesting to people. Don't get me wrong - I love cougars.
I think it might be a good idea to start at the bottom so to speak, look at the rodent cage and see what we could add or breed there and then work our way "up" through the enclosures.
I'm also thinking we may need another officer - something like a "gamekeeper" or "stock hand" or..."bloodstock officer" who can keep track of the enclosure/varieties (club added, member donated, Orbis games)/colors (etc) that we are specifically going to be working on and using. This person might also keep track of the club animals, where they are, who they go to next, breedings and so on. Because that's going to be a big job.
Forgive me if I am not coherent - I'm pretty tired tonight. First day new job. |

I have finally put in my ballot for nominations! Also, I will now officially vote for Sandbox Farmer's Cooperative as the club name.
And considering the new topic of animal creations, I will throw in some suggestions. I would like to see a new hamster variation created, as I've found that there is only a pitiful handful of them. This should also get the new players interested. My suggestions are:
Dwarf Hamster.
Teddy Bear Hamster.
I've owned both of these breeds once. They are fairly common in pet stores, so they should apply well to newbies that want to get some of their favorite and familiar animals. We could do one of them or both. I would say just one, so that we can divide our tokens among the other buildings, too.
Anyway, these are my thoughts. |

Really? I've been bitten by my brother's Syrian Hamster. It was mean. I had a very sweet little Teddy Bear, though, my first ever hamster. He would fall asleep on my chest. He tragically lost a hind leg, but it healed nicely. He died a couple years ago of natural causes. |
