That doesn't work, by the way. When I got scammed by another player I reported them through Orbis Worlds to try to get my stuff back. About a year and many bumps later I finally got a reply, but by then the scammer had quit SBF and the animals they'd stolen had died. They'd also been overbred, making the variation worthless too.

Also, since SBF is one of the least popular, ie: least profitable Orbis games, it gets pretty neglected by Orbis staff. Major bugs I spotted when I was a newbie have still not been fixed, despite the staff being well aware of them.

In short, don't rely on Orbis Worlds, or its staff.

I honestly can't tell you what happened in the past. I do know we have a good game admin staff and there are two of us very active on SBF now.

Once a ticket is escalated, it's out of admin hands, only the game owners can deal with it or even look at it. We often suggest players "bump" their ticket every couple days to keep it near the top. But I've rarely seen a new ticket go more than 12 hours without an answer from someone in admin in the almost three years I've been part of team. On tickets we know are escalated, we try to point them out to the game owner if we know nothing has happened on them for a while. But again, once a ticket is escalated, game admins can't even see them any longer, so we have to be told there is a problem.

If you are calling the game owner, Shannon, or e-mailing John, we really have no control, we most likely don't know the problem's been reported and can't even keep their attention on it. If they forget or don't get the message, of course nothing can be done from our standpoint. At least with a ticket, it's always there, can always be referenced. And yes, the answering machine has been known to eat messages and even when I e-mail Shannon, I have to tell her to look for it because my e-mails somehow always end up in her spam mail box.
