I have been watching these old movies that I LOVE, so I decided to write a story about it, but me as one of the seven children, Erin.

Chapter 1

I ran outside in my jeans and hand-me down t-shirt I had received from my older brother Jason. Running to where my daddy and Grandpa were cutting railroad ties.
"Daddy!" I yelled above the roar of the saw blade.
He fliped the motor off and wiped sweat from his forehead and leaned against the wooden machine.
"Fox is in the chickens again!" I explained, hurrying to the chicken coop where a crowd was gathering. I had finally gotten used to being part of a large group, I loved all my brothers and sisters, but I got tired of always being part of what others called, "a family reunion".

Chapter 2

My oldest brother, ran to get our daddy's gun from the barn. We stuffed rocks into his "secret door" into the coop. My father, John, said to John-Boy, "Tomorrow we'll go look for the sneak." John-Boy nodded his head.
"Can I go too?" 15 year old Jason asked excidedly.
"No son, your not ready yet." My daddy replied, walking to where he was cutting wood.
"Maybe I'm not, but maybe I am." Jason pleaded
"Jason, you can take my place tomorrow." John-Boy reasoned
"I don't want to take your place John=Boy, I just want a place of my own."
I looked from Jason to John-Boy, I secretly wanted to go too, but my father would never allow it.

Chapter 3

I jogged after my dad who was going back to the saw.
"Daddy?" I asked nervously
"What, Erin?" He asked me in return
"I go tomorrow with you and John-Boy and Jason, Please?" I pleaded
My father's eyes looked hum as the sky and he wipped sweat from his brow. "Your too young."
"Please daddy." I begged
I despratly wanted to go, I loved the trill of serching for things then finding them.
"Ok, you can tag along, I guess Jason can too." He said starting the saw blade up again.
I ran to go tell Jason that we could go.

*Eeep ok, what are they*

Chapter what ever I am on 4?

A smiled spread across Jason's face as I told him. He played a short joyous tune on his Harmonica for emphasice. Jason ruffled my hair and walked happily out of the room. The tough part would be trying to get my dad to let me shoot a gun. I hoped to kill the fox, but I knew that John-Boy, Jason or my father would kill it, I thought. I was very excided, but then I thought, my mother.

For example, in a couple of the sentences, there were no periods, and in the senctence where it says 'I despratly wanted to go, I loved the trill of serching for things then finding them.', each of the bolded words were spelled incorrectly. Wink

Chapter 5

If Jason told her, he was going, it wouldn't be too bad, but me, she would have a fit. I rand out to the saw where my dad was woking,
"Daddy?" I yelled
He turned off the blade to hear me.
"What is momma going to say?" I asked
He dabbed himself with a hankie,
"I don't know Erin, lets go find out." He said, walking towards the house. I hesetated, "I think it would be best if you asked."
"Suit your self." He answered, he disapeared into the house.
