The original pair of Friesians just passed to Florida. *cries*
The sad thing is they didn't have one offspring..not one! But you'd never know if you know how common they became in game.
I will be replacing them with another foundie pair as in all the confusion of what I need, what I've been trying to breed I overlooked the fact they were that close to retirement and I wouldn't get a foal from them. *cries some more* |

I have one, but she's just about to retire. I'll try and breed you a foal before she dies if you want. |

Thank you all for the offers but I'd prefer to import another pair for myself.
You've all missed the point of the post though. I am the creator of the Friesians and this is the very first pair in game..and there was not a single baby from the pair. |

Wow, that stinks. If you'd like I could let mine retire without replacing her. |

I'd made the breed at Endangered. One person imported a pair within a day or two after mine and bred the poo out of them, then everyone who got one did. I'm not even sure that another foundation pair was ever imported (might have been eventually after I stopped checking).
The Friesians and Lusitanos are the driving force behind my 'respect others creations' attitude. |

No, no. I don't expect you not to replace her.
The frenzy to own one ended a long time ago and (at least before I took my break) you rarely see them for sale now. I never bothered breeding the original pair because the person who imported the second pair made them worthless even for me to give as gifts because everyone had them. I was both angry and upset.
And people wonder why I make so many creations at AE.
There were two players (who don't play anymore) who did this constantly with not only my rarer creations but to other's as well. I cringe when I still see their names mentioned from time to time. My original dog breeds were treated the same way. My poor Poms and Shelties, I'm kicking myself for not making them AE. |

Aww Jinxx, I feel your pain... I know that (fortunatly) I haven't suffered to your magnitude (and I truly hope it doesn't get to that eithe) but I do feel it all the same.
I have learnt from past mistakes, and ALL (if any) of my future creations will be AE... |

I second that, Jinxx and mash, my friends! It's such a shame about Friesians - they were one of my very first imports. Aljan Terpen was my original Friesian boy and helped me further my very first Endangered and AE breeding programs!
